Bungie. Why are you against ammo synths?
Just say that you don't like them, or they make the game too easy, or it takes to long to put then in the game. I'll take any answer, just down leave me hanging.
Edit: So with the new weapon slot changes will yellow bars "guarantee" heavy drops. And if not why are there no synths?

We've been going back and running some D1 raids and OMFG how wonderful it is to pop a synth when you need it. BRING BACK SYNTHS!!!!

Because they defeat the point of having "heavy" weapons. A lot of the comments are focused on what they like, as opposed to what is actually good for the game as a whole. Limited ammo makes you think about usage. And that isn't a bad thing, especially in PvE. I guess I am against the grain here, but I am glad they are not in the game.

First, Bungie likes to have control on how you play, you have to do things a specific way, at a specific time and if you find a way to do it differently they'll patch it...No cheeses allowed because it "ruins the spirit" ..so? let the player make that choice if it kills the fun they wont do it, if everyone cheeses a boss...maybe it wasn't fun to begin with.. Second, People abuse weaponry in Destiny, always have, always will, they nerfed Gjallerhorn in D1 just because it became a raid requirement and people were getting kicked from teams for not having it, it also became in most cases the only weapon used to do anything at all, after Rise of iron other options became available but heavy weapons were typically always the "go to"...To move away from that they took them away, added "juggler" as a permanent passive modifier in an attempt to make you constantly swap weapons, this is supposed to add "strategy and fun"

I for one want to see my heavy ammo synthesis returned. It wasn't to make the game easier, it usually already is for the majority of events. My love for it was when I would go on a marathon for strikes. There was never a guarantee that I would even obtain heavy ammo in the following strike, and the option to simply pop one at the beginning meant I didn't have to travel to some random public event to hit that Flag to refill my reserves. Now I admit it hasn't been bad recently. I've noticed I get 2 rounds of heavy ammo at the beginning of the next continued strike, which is some compensation for the lack of the heavy ammo synthesis. And with the heavy ammo modifier, I actually do obtain heavy drops. But there have been times as well I will go virtually the entire strike without that exact modifier and get 1 or 2 drops at the most. I don't need to have infinite ammo, and even on D1 you had a cool down period to even pop another. But it was a nice option that I miss. But I will be completely pissed off even further if they locked it behind that horseshit eververse.

They want people to enjoy the permanent modifier of Juggle that is added to every aspect of this game.

It's just another stupid artificial way Bungie uses to make the game more difficult. I already saw too many players getting out of ammo in the middle of missions/strikes/raids, etc.

Just get rid of intrinsic Juggler and I can probably live without ammo synths.

Don't worry. The biggest heavy ammo drought ever will be in the game now thanks to the weapon slot changes. The way heavy is going to drop is going to be the same as in D1. No more heavy bricks from orange bar enemies- this has been confirmed. No ammo synths means it will be very rare that we use our heavy. 1 step forward 2 steps backward.

That alone should give you a clue and why they lied about fixing the heavy ammo issue during the bata that still hasn't been fixed a year later. As if PvP "needed" the extra heavy ammo lol. Edit: D2 is a mix cheap knockoff of Halo and a wannabe Warframe.

Weapons are trash anyway, bosses are still bullesponges and you always have 20 adds with shields all around you, even with ammo synths the bad design of enemies won’t be affected.

3 RespuestasAmmo synths are great and all. But. When I think how much time I spent waiting for them to be ready in different raids & missions etc I come to realise they are just a time consuming crutch that people rely on too much. Forget them, we are better of with out them.
