Seriously all they need to do is have a 3rd playlist akin to action sack in halo and put 6v6 in there and return quick play to what it was. Then have all game modes within the playlists be something you vote on. Done.
It's not directly choosing as some would like but it's not a bad compromise.

I wish, shame nothing can really be done about not having the forethought to make things people have been asking for well before now. That's really what keeps good things from happening.
