Take a look at Earthfall and see if this is something you would like. Its a left for dead kinda game, but with Aliens.
Or, you can try the f2p defiance 2050 for any platform. It started out real laggy, but its getting better all the time. Its a mmo, sci-fi shooter that had a 3 season tv show that followed it somewhat.
Its free, might as well give it a go if your not already familiar with it.

I think I tried defiance before. It was kinda boring, imo.

Was it back during the old gen days? They didn't change much except add classes and changed the way you progress your character and weapons.
