2 RespuestasI'm hoping Supers are not reflectable mainly for the fact that it'll just make the Arcstrider meta even worse than it is now. Grenades and rockets? Hell yes, that would be dope. However, a "return to sender" against other Supers would be stupidly broken even if the reflected Supers were slower.

To all the people hating on this guy, he could potentially be right. If the staff spin works similarly to the memory of radegast in d1 it will be able to deflect all projectiles, including nova bomb. Also, sword block do stop explosive damage from in front of the player. Add to this the fact that the staff is much longer than a sword and that there is a good chance that there will be a small zone past the end of the staff that can still reflect. This could make it nearly impossible for a hammer to kill a staff twirler. The biggest weakness that I can see is that the staff might not be able to spin above your head so enemies might be able to shoot down on the arcstrider and there will be nothing that the staff spinner can do about it.

11 RespuestasThis has crossed my mind because it is a reflection but I don't think it will work like you think it will. This super reflects bullets, not explosion damage. When a Nova Bomb hits anything it immdiately explodes on contact. This super doesn't absorb it reflects. If the Nova Bomb explodes it will kill you, just like a hammer will. A golden gunner will be the only super you will reflect with it, and with the level of drain it causes when you spin, a smart golden gunner will just hipfire you with 6 shooter when you either waste your super by spinning or when you stop spinning to close the gap. This new super is absolutely garbage. The only benefit is the 3x damage, and when was the last time you seriously used Arcstrider and thought to yourself "boy this sure needs to hit harder"
