This would be great. Instead of patrols the beacons would initiate a raid or raid lair, and the public events would be geared toward 6 man teams.
For example: a public event with a lot of adds, and the Heroic is simply kill a lot of adds, with the enemy’s being loyalist(The entire event is just calus testing you), and the rewards would be raid tokens...same amount as an encounter.
Lost sector would also be mainly killing adds and a boss, enough adds for 6 people, but with a secret chest that you need to kill the boss with a vex prism or just having to trigger a force of will plate which you would use to kill the boss, just calus testing you again, reward an encounters worth of raid tokens, secret chest having one raid gear or weapon in it.
I would love this, there are a few problems with it (ex. 3 people explore fire teams)

LEVIATHAN is soooooo old now! Honestly, it doesn't even make sense: Vanilla D2 - Cabal theme - A Cabal "The Price is Right" game show of a raid w over-emphasized mechanics with weak foes. (90 plus comps) Eater Of Worlds - Vex theme on the Cabal ship (ok intriguing to an extent) - no real story in the campaign that says why the Vex are there and why we should really stop them. After all, don't we despise the Cabal?? The raid, if that's what u wanna call it, is just straight up boring as hell (10 comps) Spire of Stars - back to over-emphasizing mechanics - back to strictly Cabal theme when the Hive was the DLC. Shouldn't it be the Hive in SoS?? The orb tossing hot potato is ridiculous. It's not hard... it's just stupid. Kill ads- toss the orb - kill more ads- toss the orb. I've been in this raid once.... I left after we cleared the 1st room. We didn't spend much time doing it as it was rather easy. But I'm not doing lame ass mechanic focused raids again. (0 comps) EOW / SOS prestige. Up until EOW I was a diehard raider. Completed all raid 390 challenges in D1. Those were fun!! These D2 raids are really lame. Let's just add more mechanics to a game where most people just really wanna kill ads. Because That's the answer! We need to move on pass Leviathan

Since Mercury is so terrible, they could easily make the Leviathan including the Castellum area a landing zone with events to do.

3 RespuestasBumped. I'd also like The City and the Arcology to be opened up as playable/patrolable areas too with public events etc. There are so many great locations/places within Destiny that are so under utilised. Some of which we only get to visit once during the main Campaign.

No thanks, leave Leviathan where it is. It is a story of the past, it should stay there and not be touched anymore. Instead of using developer resources to add something to an existing blunder, use it instead to build something new and better! In other words, dont try and and fix what is past broken!

In hindsight, yes, it should have been. Fortunately Bungie claims to have fixed this with “The Dreaming City”.

They said it was a public a space that didn't require 6 people to do stuff in it. This might also help bridge the gap that guided games failed to bridge. many people's first raids were back in vog when they loaded into a team opening the door and got invited in. I know i'm probably going off topic here, but I felt that was worth noting.

Editado por santospizarro: 7/3/2018 3:36:25 AMyes i would really appreciate it if it did have public events, shortcuts and was reinvented, all the raids should allow the players who cant make parties up, voice chat, or matchmake to get gear and weapons from fighting, collecting, and exploring like other planets have their own types of unique enemies and secrets. yeah areas without matchmaking are stupid and confusing, i went into the stupid leviathan fighting those enemies and only ammo drops, thats stupid, they could have KeyCARDDS and pepsi, candy and other rewarding finds or tokens/coins from other game areas at least extra glimmer, new enemy types, snipers and dropships attacks, publickevents with good rewards should make the leviathan a more safer place to hangout to farm, and prepare the players before the raid, this way the players can form a fire team right at the raid instead of going through some rigid system in the noobs face. I can see it now HELICOPTERS, SOLAR WEAPONS, AMBUSHES, TRAPS, shortcuts and unlockable weapons, awesome babymetal is the best ba nd, they like slipnot lol. Would be good to have the Levi- changing weathers and otherwise have different monsters and guards to make it less predictable, they should be dropping fragments and treasurekeys, unlockables.

With lost sectors, patrols, adventures, etc. most of them involving Calus testing you. Should’ve been like the Dreaming City, endgame destination with raid. 1 RespuestaWould've been cool to have some solo stuff on the Leviathan. The Raid could've been Calus testing how you work in a group and the solo stuff could've been him testing how you work alone. Different armor sets and more weapons to fill out the set, like a kinetic Scout Rifle and energy Hand Cannon.

I think Leviathan as it is now is fine... you can explore all of the underbelly solo or with 6... it’s Mercury, past and Future that should be explorable, including the infinite forest... 6 man fireteams in patrolable areas should just be standard
