I know I’ll probably be lambasted and insulted without relent for saying this but with a community as toxic as destiny’s, I’m pretty used to it by now. I personally am not happy with Catalysts being locked behind Prestige Raids and Lairs. Just like the MIDA catalyst, they are locked behind a requirement that hardly anybody is going to accomplish. Catalysts should in my opinion, be obtainable by all.
There, let the hate pour in simply for expressing a point of view.
Edit: something I should have included to make my stance clearer. I think it is perfectly acceptable for Acrius to be raid related as it is a raid weapon, but for example, Sleeper Simulant has nothing to do with Spire of Stars, it should be tied to EP. I do think making them this hard is a bit much yes but I am aware I am in a minority’s on that point. Some relevance is basically what I’m asking for.

1 Respuestaoh take a damn hike, some should damn well be this hard and its not even hard you can get it from the first encounter of spire, its because of people like u d2 launched the way it dead

4 RespuestasThe only dumb shit about catalysts is their blatant intention when designing them. They exist SOLELY to increase the amount of hours played. This entire franchise has been about getting the right stats to report back to Activision. It's all about average hours played, nothing else matters...

1 RespuestaI agree with you, I left because I was sick of quests steps that required the raid or pvp or EP. Not to mention taking away gear I worked hard to get only to have it re-introduced nerfed or good perks removed and I have to re-earn it or get lucky enough to get it from an exotic engram!! No I’m biding my time till anthem is released, I am done with Bungie and their lies, and their catering to streamers , pvp and try hards, the Buy-a-Flawless and the toxic community. Destiny 1 was awesome, but I knew it was going down hill when they lied to the community and took away all our gear at the end of Destiny 1. They promised NOT to that and then did it. Oh well Bungie’s just screwing them selves, and their 10 year plan!! (LOL 10 year plan, that’s a good one) Good luck, hang in there

Editado por Xc_LuxZenRa: 6/30/2018 5:08:21 PMEveryone's issue...Everything is RNG. Exotics should not Be RNG....Make them Part of the Lore! Give us a straight forward Objective(s) To get those exotics Until Bungie Stops Prolonging the The Grind over Quality we as players will continue to be ignored... I havnt done the raid in a while. Use to run it every week. I kinda forgot they existed for a while to be honest.

1 RespuestaI get where your coming from however it’s that same exact point of view of things being to hard to obtain that ruined the game. The prestige mode leviathan raid is easy, the two raid layers are easy, everything is easy and everything is handed to us, this game is meant to be a grind like it or not this is how it should be, no reason to hand everything to us otherwise what’s the point of the game? The game needs to be a grind, go back to D1 year 1 remember Ghorn or vex mythoclast those were what made destiny 1 memorable it was the grind and the reward that you got at the end of said grind. Destiny 2 is lacking because of everything being handed down to us for free due to this type of thinking!

9 RespuestasYou’ll be extra pissed when you find out that 400 light level weapons will only drop from prestige raid lairs.
-
your original post and your edit are basically polar opposites though. which do you prefer? catalysts for everything dropping everywhere (which WILL water down and annihilate the drop table), or have catalysts specific to certain things?
-
5 RespuestasPeople don’t raid, they are doing everything possible short of removing strikes to get people into them, if that means screwing non raiders out of something that by logic shouldn’t be in a raid, so be it, pretty sure a YouTuber or two told them on the summit that they should add even more things to raids to try and force people into them. Oh and get ready to see even less things available on strikes and PE for Forsaken, they will go hard on raids and PvP and leave non raiders hanging, but hey Fallout and Anthem are coming soon.

3 RespuestasThis game's history has always been about grinding and a sense of accomplishment from acquiring things, because they had been so hard to get in the first place. Because things (Certain exotic catalysts in this case) can be difficult to get, its a bit of a turn-away for some people and im sorry to say you're one of those people (No its not a bad thing, its just a thing) D2 has become a lot less grindy than D1, and its lost a lot of its depth (Pretty much all depth IMO) now devs are trying to compensate for that lack of a grind through catalysts. Wanting things that are hard to get to become open to everyone takes away grind, and that's against what most Destiny players want. People are reacting to your post with such anger and negativity because Bungie's reaction to casual gamers' reactions ended up killing the game for hardcore fans.
-
I understand your frustration, I am just wondering how many complaints Bungie will get before they actually start doing something right... Again I thought they would've learned from their mistakes but apparently they only listen to the people who advertise for them on streams :( Kinda wish they would go back to updating D1 since they finally got it right when HoW and TTK came out.
-
1 RespuestaBungie wants you to join group activities but then gives you zero tools in the game to find other people to do those activities with in the game.
-
3 RespuestasAs long as they are guaranteed to drop the first time you clear the Prestige, I can somewhat accept that. I do entirely agree with you, it is stupid that they are gating off even more catalysts through activities.
-
4 RespuestasRaid weapons should have their catalyst tied to to the raids, non-raid weapons and their catalysts should not, that's only common sense...
-
1 RespuestaThey should be hard to obtain BUT obtainable & upgradeable in any activity from which the gun came from originally .
-
2 RespuestasNever wasted my time farming anything I just let things happen I got around 60% of catalyst i play dayly and havent got any catalyst from strikes I dont even care They will drop at some point Stop bitching
-
2 RespuestasYeah i raid often but I dont think the sleeper and telesto should be locked away behind activities so few do. I'm gonna go out and try to get them but them i wouldnt be opposed to them dropping somewhere else the acrius tho makes sense where its at
-
4 RespuestasSo why are they not obtainable other than you choosing not to go get them

Agree... It's ridiculous how Bungie doesn't think things though.
-
Bungie is doing this sort of stuff to try to get people to play the raid and the game more. But I think it is having the opposite effect; its driving more and more people away.

-
Bungo, ’til you’ve introduced half decent in-game grouping and communication mechanisms that would more than likely get this community’s participation and completion rates outta the single digits for activities like raids and competitive PvP, puttin’ anything not directly related those activities should be a non-starter. BTW, how’re the numbers lookin’ towards that 40% that YOU said would be able to earn the Claymore?!!
-
3 RespuestasIt is absolutely stupid that sleeper is in the raid. Makes no sense
-
2 Respuestasno catalysts should be tied to any that is not matchmaking . that it nothing else , there no excuse for it to be unmatchmaking .
-
1 RespuestaEditado por MissFoxyRubyRouge: 6/29/2018 8:57:20 AMI agree completely make catalysts actually achievable to all players bungie just keeps blocking off all the good content constantly its like they want thier game to only be played by elitist snobs
-
1 RespuestaXur should sell a fated catalyst.
