Let me preface this by saying I have a Titan.
Seriously I don't quite get it considering Striker is a beast and so is Sunbreaker.
Sure Sentinel could have better hit registration and the bubble is not what it was by any means but tell me why this is any worse than the fact that other classes need reworks and have some useless trees as well.
-
Striker is D1 was kick ass. But it lacks to me in D2 severely. Mainly because, for me anyways, up close encounters in D2 seem to be more damaging from the enemies so I tend to go for a super with range. Sunbreaker (my fav). But I can tell it has been nerfed. Warlock seems to be a more well rounded character to me in D2. I can take more damage even though my resilience is lower than my Titan. Love Hunter to. But Titan just seems a little pussified. So hey, rather than get pissed I just switch characters. Kill many and Die often!

2 RespuestasThey need better exotics like wormhusk and knucklehead radar.

3 RespuestasEditado por Lead and Fire: 6/27/2018 5:47:19 PMLike I said in another thread similar to this, Titans aren't bad (hunter main here btw), they just don't have much that's special. Warlocks have some dope exotics for boosting abilities and buffing the team, Hunters have pretty solid exotics for staying alive and killing baddies more effectively, and the hunter/warlock trees are all pretty different. For warlock you have a void bomb, Palpatine electro hands, and a flaming sword. Hunters get either a 6/3 shooter, tether bow, or arc imbued poledancer of death. Titans pretty much get punch people with void, punch people with arc, and throw hammers. the subtrees aren't that cool either, for example on gunslinger I can run a 6 shooter with exploding knives, or a 3 shooter with precision shots, orb generation, and knives that refill on a precision kill. For titan, you pretty much get a variation of shoulder slam then some thing that makes the super last longer or gives you health regen on melee kills, there's not that much variation in the perks for each subclass. TL;DR: Titans are not bad at all, they just need some love and more special gear.

9 Respuestashttps://guardian.gg/2/class-stats?platform=console&mode=5&start=2018-06-18&end=2018-06-25 False. All three hunter subclasses are the best in kd stop trying to protect your hunter crutches

Agreed, although I do feel that fusion grenades are the most uselss grenades out there. They don't even do 50% of shield dmg in pvp. Otherwise I think titans are pretty competitive

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBAXFjC03RA This happened to me in Iron Banner. I just want the hit detection to be fixed.
-
Lets be honest here the exotics overall for the titan are trash. Striker titan is ok at best, 9/10 times unless its no radar you'll get gunned down before you even get close to do a slam. Sentinel titan is hot garbage and in a bad spot right now. Sunbreaker is the only legit and safe super but lacks a neutral game and one or two of the abilities in it's trees need to be swapped out or improved.
-
1 RespuestaThe only thing I think needs any kind of attention is the Sentinel subclass, there is absolutely no reason to use it over the other 2 options. The super sucks and the bubble isn’t worth using because it get destroyed as soon as it’s popped. Sure there’s some stuff on Warlocks and Hunters that could be better but to me Sentinel is in terrible place, it has no place in PvE like it used to, and its basically a joke in pvp.
-
7 RespuestasThe reality is that every class is about equal, but not in a good way. Class abilities are all in need of buffs, every subclass has at least one crap skill tree, and each class has one subclass that's complete garbage in all but one aspect. I would like to point out that the Sentinel's problems aren't just hit detection. Literally the only good thing about it are suppressor grenades, and they're kinda bad in PvE imo.
-
5 RespuestasI just want the Sentinel Hit Detection to be fixed and I'll be happy.
-
14 RespuestasI think the biggest issue with titans are their exotics. Their overall utility and general usefulness are mediocre in comparison to hunter and warlock exotics.

1 RespuestaCrest of Alpha Lupi needs to be as good as the wormhusk.

5 RespuestasEditado por TotalDramaGamer: 6/26/2018 12:52:38 AMNothing is worse than Sentinel. I've literally only seen Sentinels even have a glimpse of usage in the Crucible and that's it. And even then, they're so not better than Sunbreakers. Strikers are okay, but boring, and have nothing too special in PvE or PvP that Sunbreaker doesn't have. Sunbreaker has the shoulder charge, the roaming super, the healing abilities, good grenades, and overall PvE superiority over striker. There's just no real reason not to use Sunbreaker if you're a Titan. Striker and Sentinel are just a lesser versions of Sunbreaker. Sunbreaker > Striker > Sentinel. Oh... and, Warlocks > Hunters > Titans. Just in case there was some confusion on the class hierarchy. Bask in the Warlock master race. -- Also, the reason that Warlocks are on top is because, usually, both of their nodes are useful. Dawnbreaker: Use the bottom tree for PvE for near infinite super in some areas. The dive can be a life saver as well. Fun fact, super kills with the dive DON'T drain super and STILL gain super. Use top tree for airborne tactics in the crucible and extra evasion. Critical uses in staying alive. Once you become better at the Dawnblade super projectiles it's becomes pretty unnecessary to have tracking unless you're super far away (which, with the jump buff, shouldn't be an issue) VoidWalker: Use top tree if you want to max out PvE damage. Great for EP especially. Once you realize that spherical grenades don't stack (or the vortex from the lower nova bomb) the sooner you realize that slova bomb and charged scatter grenades are the best for OPTIMAL DPS. Bonus tip: Use crimson to get the almighty health regen per kill that makes Voidwalker so damn awesome. Use bottom tree if you want the almighty infinite health regen that is the Warlock master race. Devour will grant you grenades faster than you think and instant, un-interuptable, health regen is a God send. Nova bomb is better for longer ranged attacks if you can arc it. Also, your melee is a free devour charge. Stormcaller: Use bottom tree for PvE. You gain turrets that are thee definition of cool if you have 2 other people using them. You are the ultimate support. Your super stuns on activation, and you will kill all adds in sight easily (and all yellow bars with ease if you have some help like a tether, yellow bars 'can' be a super drainer). Use Crown of Tempests to become godlike with ability regen as well. After the buff that is soon coming, it will also EXTEND your stormtrance EVEN FURTHER. Too good to be true, honestly. Yet, it's true, and it's going to be glorious. Storm grenade is also really good, IMO. It also good for PvP is you want to stack turrets and charge a point. Use top tree for PvP. Gain super teleportation. Grenades and melee chains to other enemies, making the pulsing arc grenades even more of a killer than usual. Recover energy faster from being around teammates as well (I think, I know that it's in one tree that I'm pretty sure is the top one but I might be wrong)

19 RespuestasAccording to guardian.gg sentinel and striker see the least use in raids of all nine subclasses. Your telling me that's fine? Titans have very few good exotics. Everything they can do is done miles better by other classes. Titans have every right to complain. We are clearly the weakest class.
-
were not saying titans are bad were just saying they don't feel like real titans and that needs to change.
-
7 RespuestasThey did get nerfed and their walls are pointless in pvp. Their bubble is beyond easy to take out do to everyone shooting at the same thing pretty much all the time. In d1, if you saw a Titan bubble, you pretty much just had a dance party waiting for it to go away... now, just shoot it. But coming from d1, you had the highest resilience and recovery while being the fastest player on the map. You had exotics that made a statement in a match.. grieves that were basically a free rocket, or legs that would let you turn on a dime, a chest that would save a players life from lanes, double lightning grenades, etc... the last year of d1... titans were TITANS... Now, You out run any super, team shoot any super in seconds, and due to not being able to choose our pvp game mode, you hardly ever see a reason for a Titan bubble like you would in destiny for control clutching a flag that is surrounded by the other team... you do that now, you laugh.
-
My titan is my favorite class to play. But I actually have fun with them all.
-
Dunemarchers suck in d2... they should be like d1 so we can turn.
-
A lot of the Exotics on Titans are underwhelming and Sentinel is both a weaker Sunbreaker and Defender.
-
Most of them are just bitching. I agree that Sentinel is a bit weak, but the idea that Titans need buffs to their overall kit is just ridiculous. They're completely fine right now.
-
2 RespuestasSentinel does suck big time, but the complaints started to rush in once Luna faction boots were fixed and made the titan barricade less valuable. Now they are crying in to their oversized shoulder pads. Sunbreaker is awesome and super fun to play. Paired with synthoseps they are deadly.
-
2 RespuestasWhile striker and sunbreaker are fine, sentinel is an almost worthless class. It has little to no team support, its hit detections is garbage, its damage is pathetically low, and its shield has an arbitrary cooldown for no apparent reason. Others may have certain tress that are less useful in certain situations, but they dont have an entire subclass that is inferior in almost every way. Titans literally went from being one of the main team support classes in D1, to having almost no team support, and wha little support they had in the form of rally barricade has now been made worthless in comparison to warlocks with lunafaction boots. Now i am not saying to nerf anyone, in fact i am just saying that things should be buffed in some way. Then on top of all this, titans have the least powerful exotics. They have decent ones that are ok for all situation (like armormentarium), however both hunters and warlocks have exotics that make them insanely good in a large number of situations. Hunters have an exotic per super that makes that super incredible, along with things like a helmet for healing which is always useful. Warlocks have things like lunafactions which are always useful, along with exotics that either give them back their void super incredibly fast, or allows them to throw about 6 sun grenades all one after another after simply killing with their melee. Titans have decent neutral exotics, but nothing more. One particular change i would also like for sun breakers, would be to allow the final hammer thrown it actually hit. Right now the final hammer disappears in mid air, where as classes like dawn blade, has its final shot continue to fly even after its super has ended.
-
I havent seen any upset titans. everyone uses them in pvp and pve. I have a pvp countor on kills and its evenly divided between all three classes with over 16000 kills so..... yea not buying your bait click thread
-
I main a Sentinel Titan. I have not regrets. I don't play PvP though.
-
1 RespuestaMost titans just don't know how to play there class. The want to be unkillable gods like they were in d1.
