Solo's vs Stacked Teams
Wasn't there an update to make the matchmaking much more bearable? Don't get me wrong, it does feel improved somewhat but a lot of us are still being placed into matches vs 4-man stacked teams. Bungie fails to see the advantage of communication, again.

9 RespuestasSolo players should get this through their thick skulls already. This game is not designed for your type anymore. If you decide to support this game anyways, you better deal with that fact and stop complaining. If you don't want to accept that fact, move on to other games. Simple as that. Stop asking Bungie to give solo players a better experience. It will not happen. It's not their focus. With Bungie its either their way or the highway. You refuse to find friends to play with, Bungie will never tell you to get the -blam!- out of their game(they will always accept your money), but you will be punished for sticking with that "i want to play by myself" mentality. You basically will be wasting money as you will be paying the same amount of money as everyone else, for less content. BTW, this is coming from a solo player.

16 RespuestasWhy do you "solo players" buy multiplayer games, then come and bitch on the forms about the multiplayer experience. The same forums you could find a team to play with. People playing with their friends shouldn't be punished because people wanna be anti social on a social game.

just trying to climb the never ending competitive ladder and i get match up against a premade 4 stack when i am playing solo. How is this possible?

3 RespuestasJust block premades I do and never see them again tons of other people to play against or with . You can keep track if you want and unblock them if Bungie decides to fix Cruce ever .

It was removed as soon as it was put on. Now they have only 1 matchmake option. Either you get thumbless idiots on your team while the opponents have a 16.0 KD team or you face a 4 stack of 3x your teams total KD.

You need to quit worrying about 4 stacked teams when matching solo. They’re generally garbage when you queue solo. Unfortunately, your teammates might not also know this, and quit just because it’s a 4 stack.

1 RespuestaBungie still refuses to cater to the majority of their player base..... still trying to force the "TEAM" aspect of the game. Another aspect of D1 that seems to be forgotten. D1 had the modes that required a team, but leveling up, Crucible and all other aspects were still good as a solo player.

2 RespuestasI went into competitive by myself. All 4 of us solo queued and the other team was a fireteam of four. In the first round 2 of the players on my team quit.

How it should work Solos and duos matchmake against solos and duos 3-4 player fireteams match against 3-4 player fireteams.

I am very close to giving up on chasing the crucible milestone as most times i end up against a stacked team and they end up spawn capping my team.

9 RespuestasIt's actually worse than you think. What I discovered upon joining LFGs for comp is that these 4-stacks specifically target solo-queue players. If they see another 4-stack join the matchmaking, they immediately back out. Every group I joined only enters the game if the queue filled up one or two at a time so they know all those players are by themselves. It's messed up.

Are you playing competitive, cause stacked teams is the whole point of competitive. I play quickplay and never run into stacked teams. On reset day i might see 2 maybe 3 players from the same clan on the opposing team, but it is hardly stacked. They are just average players at the same skill level as me just trying to earn some clan engrams.

I prefer to solo queue, and have better KD when I do.

They never said that you would run into 4 member teams less often, just that when you did, single players would technically have a higher skill level than those on the 4 man team. That’s SBMM at its finest. The only thing 4 stack teams have going for them is that they can communicate together better during a match then say a team of 4 ransoms can. This is why it is still frustrating to lose to stacked teams but again, Bungie never said it would happen less frequently. Besides, the player base in comp right now is low anyway. Try going in with a team, takes a few minutes to find one but it’s way easier.

I main a Warlock too. In fact it’s my only character. Run a speed build. I run a 10, 2, 5 with Mida and Transverse Steps. Stay moving and learn to master your DB skill tree. Keep within eyeshot but don’t rush them unless they are on top of you.

No. I personally prefer to have a matchmaking schedule that goes like this: 4-stack, drop-in match, 3-stack, drop-in match, drop-in match, 2-stack of people who are super good/lagging around the map. That's where the real fun is.
