ah, this reminds me of the vault of glass back in year 1. kill atheon, hoping to get something to boost you to light level 30 and not be forever 29, only to have chatterwhite show up as your only reward.

I expected something like Xol's jaws open and fade out and the guardian appears in the middle. But that's just a transparent worm. Lame, yeah.

I ran the nf with some randys last night. One asked "anyone know what the loot is for this nightfall?" I said "Yeah it's a transmat effect". Slight moment of silence then all 3 if us bust out laughing.

It's a unique reward, but I'm not so sure it's worth the kind of grind people put in for DFA or Duty Bound. At least not to me, to each their own.

Meh... would be better if transmat effects were transferable between ships. I end up never applying any I get from Tess since I am one drop or engram away from a new ship.
