You people claim that there wasn’t a true grind to D2. Okay. They add in a bunch of new features that greatly improve the grind. You people complain that the grind is too much.
You people will never stop complaining, will you?

You haven’t figured out that the group who complained there wasn’t enough grind and the people who complain there is two much are two different groups of people?

Somehow I doubt OP was part of "you people".

The changes don't "greatly improve" the grind, they "greatly increase" the grind. To have 1 week to grind out 1000 tokens to get something that should really be obtainable otherwise. Honestly, if they made the level cap 35 for the Exotic Ornament (Same as the final reward) 50 for the weapon, and the winner's Catalyst is the Prize that everyone can get, people would be complaining a lot less. Disregarding rewards though, the grind is still boring. It's 100 lost sector clears with an average of 10 minutes for a solo renown and clear. Yes, I know that that's the extreme case, but assuming you do all the daily milestones, which is 360 tokens, you still have 640 tokens to get. Assuming you do 1 public event, 1 patrol, and 1 high value target, that's ~42 lost sector clears. There aren't even 42 lost sectors in game so it becomes less of fun gameplay loop and more of a boring grind.

It's more like two(or more) different groups with different wants. One group wanted the grind, now they're happy. But a different group wants faster routes to the same prize so they complain. If Bungie gives in to them, then the first group will complain that it's too easy for everyone and they need to feel special so they will complain. There is literally nothing Bungie can do that will make everyone happy.

Don't know what you've been smoking Bubbles, but I guarantee you that I NEVER said the grind "wasn't enough". EVER. It's also a pretty safe bet that the people who wanted a bigger grind didn't jump ship and suddenly start complaining about it. You're hearing the NEW voices of the disenfranchised low hour players taking over for the high hour players who now have something to do.
