I have been reading a few rumors online lately that DLC 3 in September (the D2 version of TTK) will be free.
The reasoning is people won't pay for another DLC and other games like Fortnight, Black ops, and Warframe drop DLC for free but make their money from in game purchases.
If thats true, the eververse store is going to become a megamart.

I’ve seen all that and know that two of those are bad examples. Warframe is free and puts the “dlc” in updates. For note doesn’t have dlcs just cosmetic micro-transactions. Black ops 4 (the black ops you’re clearly referring to) will likely only have cosmetic micro-transactions as well and will include new maps and weapons in updates like warframe does.
