A Nightstalker's job is to be on the sidelines. We create orbs for others to drink, we bring a fireteam back from the brink while in the shadows. We clear the hordes and blind the foes hunting our allies. We are the hidden hand that turns the tide of battle, not some hammer to smash with or some angelic winged beast. It's not always glorious work, but you'll find that a good Nightstalker can often do more good than a half dozen strikers.

Should always use tether to just make orbs at Calus anyways. Tether middle door at beginning and then during attack tether on side of plate your going too.
