Clan Engrams are unless now
"Trials of the Nine and raid clan engrams no longer grant Trials of the Nine or raid weapons
These now grant Crucible and Vanguard rewardsClan Engrams no longer grant rewards above the player’s level when reaching 340 Power
The Nightfall and Crucible clan engrams will grant rewards up to 340 Power"
The whole point of then was to GIVE US EXTRA LOOT FROM THOSE GAMETYPES
Both vanguard and crucible shit was useless and has been useless
They're called RAID AND TRAILS ENGRAMS FOR A REASON

1 RespuestaIt’s like people here lack common sense. Just because someone isn’t doing the raid doesn’t mean they are lazy and want the gear handed to them. There are a multitude of reasons why someone who puts a ton of time into the game might not be raiding. 1). People have jobs, school, social lives etc. the point is it’s not always easy to get everyone on at the same time together to do the raid. People have other obligations and conflicting schedules. 2). If people in clans are worried about people leeching and not participating here’s a crazy idea BE MORE SELECTIVE ABOUT WHO YOU LET IN. Bungie isn’t letting random people into your clan. If someone isn’t contributing then kick them it’s that simple. People send a bunch of invites to random people to join their clan and then complain when they don’t do anything. It’s a problem you can easily fix yourself lol 3). A lot of people are disappointed with destiny and have since quit the game. So if someone is a solo player or only has 1 friend to play with it’s quite difficult to find others to play with. Lfg is a joke and it’s mainly people asking for experienced raiders but how can someone be experienced if they haven’t done it. Nobody is asking for handouts just another avenue to get the higher end gear.

Return the engrams back to what they were at launch and bring back "adept" varients for those that do the activities. I'm shit at trials but would like to get a few of the weapons and having adept raid weapons would be good. Something new to chase.

Ok so easy fix for this hear me out, as we see destiny is season based and new armour and weapons come out for the raid and trials with each new season. So why not leave the clan engrams how they were, but the trials and raid engrams only dropped season 1 gear from both events. (First raid only, no raid lairs). Then the 2 endgame events are still rewarding and special to do,cause people who do them have special gear from the new seasons that they had to work and no one else will have if they don’t do the events. Then the people who don’t do raids and trials regularly or at all for whatever reason, are happy that they at least are getting something new, helpful and can enhance their game.

Ok so on the opposite end of the spectrum what pisses me off is I have completed everything up to warmind in this game so my job I felt as a clan leader was to try and help the clan members level up and by doing activities with clan members I would unlock "Gifts" for lower tier members and I got a piece of mind and a feeling of accomplishment from doing this and they took said "Gifts" away which pisses me off. Some people have lives to live and don't have the time to grind out random rewards from said activities this gave them the chance to use some of these pieces of equipment. I see a lot of people on here saying well he got this weapon and never had to do the activity well maybe he didn't ever do it but he helped grind out clan levels and did other things to better our clan so here is a reward to help you move forward. I thought this was one of the best systems bungie put into place when destiny 2 rolled out and I feel they just shit all over it.

Hey at least you get some engrams. I cant claim the crucible, nightfall or raid engrams from hawk although my clan has completed said activities

The engrams should be completely removed from the clan rewards, replace them with something else entirely.

I'm okay with the clan engrams not giving the raid/trials gear, since I believe you should have to actually do those activities to get those pieces of gear, but I don't understand why they aren't powerful engrams when you only can get 4 a week.

2 RespuestasDestiny has plenty of criticisms to go around. This, however, isn’t one of them. You shouldn’t get endgame gear without participating in the endgame. Making the endgame loot worth getting should be the issue, however.

3 RespuestasI have a bunch of Trials weapons and have never once stepped into Trials of the Nine. There really is something wrong with that. Am I bummed that they changed it? A little, cause who doesn't like free stuff? But I am also 100% in support of the change. Endgame gear should be earned by doing endgame activity, not by being associated with others who do endgame activities while I lazily patrol.

2 RespuestasNo, This change was one of the absolute best things to happen with the update. One of the largest problems with D2 at launch was that there was no way for Bungie to make anything truly unique due to both the sandbox mentality and the ease of availability of endgame gear, WITHOUT doing any endgame activities. As others have said, and as I will repeat here, endgame gear should not be given to players who do not play endgame activities. You want that raid or trials gear? Go do the raid or play trials. No more handouts. This is one of the things that brought the game so far down, and I am happy they finally made the right move on it.

Should still grant you raid gear tho, but require you participate in at least 1 raid encounter so you can collect it.

1 Respuestathere is a point to be made. As a clan leader, I would have new players join my clan to then never offer to play together or there never on only to leave a few weeks later. So there are some that let others do the work for their reward. From that stand point I agree the Clan engram shouldn't give raid or trials loot. BUT it should give higher than light rewards so that you can keep up with your clan in light so that when your on you can experience the raid or trials with your clan. Otherwise just get rid of the whole clan thing which is what separated us from the beginning.

3 RespuestasWhilst I agree, getting free stuff from others hard was good, I mean who doesn't love frees stuff? However I always felt pretty dirty climbing the 'stairs of shame' up to Hawthorne to receive the latest social security engram. Now I may be poorer, but at least I can take pride in that I earned ;-) my stuff myself. #improveyourselfworth

5 RespuestasYep, zero reason to be in a clan anymore. We lost all of our casuals in our clan over this, they was very good at helping people through nightfalls and other odd and end things. They're gone now and I dont blame them. I left too, no reason to be in one now.
