you can, may 8th. BUT keep in mind, that you will need Curse of Osiris to play Warmind

Why? CoO doesn't have anything worth buying dlc. Looks like Warmind has much more content in it. I also looking to buy only Warmind, but after it get released. Need to see how it goes before i give them my money. Is there some official info about it? Why would you force people to buy dlc if they don't want.
-
CoO included levels 20-25 and warmind includes levels 25-30 if you bought warmind and it allowed you to play it then you would essentially be dipping into content from CoO without paying for it
-
you can make that one dlc gives you levels 20-25 and two dlcs 25-30 :)
-
That wouldn't work. When this dlc comes out all activities will adjust themselves close to the max light. If one were to just buy warmind they would not be able to do endgame activities as they will not be able to get to level 30 to even equip max level gear
-
they can make all endgame activity with dynamic difficulty, depends on your level and light level when you enter the activity. also every loot drop can be determined from current mob (boss) dynamic level. everything is doable if you have resources and will to do it
-
Try finding a team with similar light. Then you have a problem with people being too high of a level that the activity ramps up and then you can’t do damage.
-
dynamic difficulty deals with that problem also. it scales all enemies to match your level, so in group of people with different light levels enemies will match their light level.
-
Don't think it's possible for one enemy to appear as a level 25 for one person and have that same ad be level 30 for another
-
it is. ofc you need to change how game works, but it was done in some games
-
Name an example. I’ve only ever seen games adjust to the highest level player. Not having the same enemy adjust to two different leveled people
-
Marvel Heroes Online had Dynamic Combat Level. every activity in game adjusting to your level, and if you have in party player with lower level enemies have different health and power to you and him
-
Yikes. I'll wait till the September update and buy the whole lot when it goes on sale. Should be a couple of weeks of content by then.
-
that's not bad idea :)

Editado por Reubenatrix: 5/2/2018 11:40:22 PMI did it when TTK came out - took 6 months off and played Warframe. Came back to Destiny and played it for the best year right up to ROI and its was pvp heaven / tons of strikes / POI / 4 RAIDS / - heaps to choose from. Eyasluna! If there was 1 handcannon like Eyanluna/Hawkmoon even Finnalia's Peril, style I'd probably get back into D2. So satisfying and fun to use. great sound.

Most games do it this way, you cant just skip a dlc. For example Warmind contains levels 26-30(guessing on end) and power 336-385 without CoO you would have no way to get there, as it is needed for level 21-25 and power 306-335. Just like if you are looking forward to the Fall Comet, you will need to own CoO and Warmind to play it. It is a fact of games, if you want to continue playing the latest content, you will need to own the previous content.
-
It worked the same way with Destiny 1. You need to own previous content to buy the next content. That’s how Bungie designs their game and we have to follow it if we wish to play.
-
now i'm really confused, moderator in this thread https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/244861201 said you can play Warmind without CoO
-
That is correct. You do not need CoO. Until BNG3 posted that reply we were going off what Destiny 1 was like.
-
thanks, well then it's 305 for me... 20€ for Curse of Osiris and its content is to much
-
if you buy it as the pass it is 35us so 20 for warmind and 15 for CoO if it makes you feel bettr.
-
Ah, i see so best to just get the season pass then. i guess it makes sense with the level cap increase each dlc. thanks for the response :)
-
no problem, glad to help.
