1 RespuestaI kind of like a 4 weapon slot system. So much of this game seems to really want me to have rocket launcher equipped. I can't tell you how many times I've used the heavy weapon slot for something other than a rocket launcher only to regret not equipping a rocket launcher. A 4th slot would allow me to just have that launcher equipped while actually using some of the other heavy weapons.

2 RespuestasNo. Add 4th slot. I love scout/auto scout/hand cannon combo. So much fun.
-
D1 weapon system all the way
-
3 RespuestasD1 year 1 system or gtfo
-
Dude yes please no more double primary
-
1 RespuestaI don’t actually mind the two primaries, but it does ruin the pve side of the game, I do miss my ex machina
-
3 RespuestasDefinitely the worst part of D2! A. They bring us back to D1 primaries. Special and heavy. B. Innovate some sort of new system. Double primary status quo is practically gone with the wind. Josh Hamrick said a replacement is forthcoming. Most likely for the fall expansion.
-
I liked the one player who said make it a 4 loadout system then you can have 2 primaries and secondaries and heavies
-
Editado por ken31cayman: 4/6/2018 6:50:42 PMBack to D1 weapon slots or if possible create a fourth slot. OR Let PvP have their dual primaries but switch us PvE players back. Tall order I know.

13 RespuestasD1 system was fine. Bungie is just incompetent.
-
I hate dual primaries. I really want D1 system back. More specifically Y1 when all 3 weapons were elemental. Much simpler.
-
1 Respuestait was clearly a late design decision to merge everything into heavy but they didn't want to spend resources changing it to one primary and one heavy just sloppy design
-
I have a solution, and it’s pretty genius. It’s called the “kinetic, special, heavy” system. The kinetic slot has pulse rifles, scout rifles, auto rifles, sub machine guns, and hand cannons. The special slot has fusion rifles, shotguns, and snipers. Finally, the heavy slot has *cough* machine guns*cough* rocket launchers, swords, linear rifles, grenade launchers, and swords. Pretty genius right? I mean it’s not like it has been used before and worked just fine.

I'm pretty sure everyone thought this when it was announced last summer. But hey Bungie knows how we want to play.

1 RespuestaRealistically PVP needs to be a separate game. Like Half Life, you get CSS but it's a whole different game. That way the PVP people can have there weak weapons without any snipers or anything useful because they don't want to adapt. I got smashed by TLW or Thorn so many times it was insane, but now? The gun is so utterly useless it's actually sad. The PVP group will never, ever be satisfied because they will always find a gun that has a .0000001% quicker TTK and it will need to be nerfed. Make it like CSS, you get a loadout you can choose from and all the guns are identical. No more questions about balance. No more ruining PVE because people whine every time they lose. I mean, snipers and shotguns and fusions are no use now, Truth got ruined, sniper ammo got nerfed, the entire loadout got changed all for PVP and it all sucks for PVE. I love PVP but people complain about it non stop because they want it to be perfectly even. Make it like CSS and then it won't ruin the rest of the game. Or have the competitive playlist be like Y1 and make the other setup where everything is identical.

1 RespuestaMaking D2 was a mistake all around really.

1 RespuestaThe weapon system is fine. I just don't understand why people think the D1 system was so much better. I have never felt like I needed to run a rocket/sword and a shottie/sniper to get through a PvE encounter. As for PvP... At the end of D1 in PvP you literally only had 1 weapon to use when you spawned in unless you were running a sidearm. Even if you ran Icebreaker you had to wait for ammo to generate. So if you wanted to run anything else you were hunting for a special crate before you were gunned down again. I realize that this was due to the ammo economy being a cluster, but in all fairness people should not really be running around with 1-hit-kill weapons all match long as it just becomes a "who shoots first" game, which is lame. In D1 PvP there was 1 chance to get heavy ammo. if you missed it (due to death or blueberry popping it before you got there), tough luck for you. You're never gonna get to use that rocket/sword/machine gun and now you are down to only 2 weapon choices the entire match... well really 1 unless you can get special ammo before you die again. And even if you got ammo your use of heavy was very limited since you ran out fairly fast. At least in D2 I have the choice to run a close range weapon (SMG, Sidearm) along with something medium or long range (scout, pulse, auto) and I have both of them when I spawn in. Now that the power ammo economy has been tweaked there seems to be plenty of ammo available for the taking. One idea I thought would be interesting to experiment with would be to let any weapon go in any slot and have the DPS of the weapons correspond to the ammo type. You want to run a rocket as your primary? sure, but instead of 1 rocket killing you, it takes 3, but due to the blast radius you could impact multiple targets. I'm not saying it makes sense to run a primary rocket, however a current example would be the Fighting Lion. Its a grenade launcher, but direct hits do not kill you like grenade launchers do in the power slot.

I like the dual primary. Don't want to see it go.
-
3 RespuestasI’m sorry but I love dual primaries. Once ttk gets way faster and abilities become better it should be fun to play
-
2 RespuestasI like dual primaries. I found the sniper/shotgun/fusion energy weapon slot stifling. Oh, I need a sniper rifle in this room, guess I should have thought of that five minutes ago, because now I have to wait for my heavy ammo synth to cool down before I can pop a special ammo synth. Oh, I need a shotty for this room, too bad I have a sniper rifle I just loaded up. I wound up with a fusion rifle every effing time, it was the only reliably decent choice - never optimal, but never bad, either. Now I have options - the options are low DPS, sure, but more options. I want more options always.
-
3 RespuestasI disagree. Choosing weapon loadouts requires more strategizing with dual primaries, and weapon build variety is actually better than Destiny's system. Heavies like shotguns or snipers need an adjustment to their ammo supply to give them broader use over other heavies.
-
1 RespuestaI have played both D1 and D2 and I think there should be a way we can have both. I personally like the double Primary opposed to the D1 system but I know that I am in the minority there.
-
4 Respuestasi find that most of this revolves around the "i never use sniper/shotty anymore" idea. might i suggest something.equip the weapon you think is fun and play around with it. you don't have to equip a rocket, that's your decision.

I’ve not heard of that content creator??

Theres nothing wrong with the system now
