No...
We want more hero moments buy buffing Primary weapons back to Destiny 1.
It’s so easy to kill with power weapons in Destiny 2, when everything was nerfed but power/special weapons comparing it to Destiny 1.
Primary weapons were nerfed by 25-30 % and grenades, melee, sprint speed, supers, AA, accuracy, etc.
Only other thing really to get buffed was flinch...which adds frustration too.
As long as primary weapons are weak....
Players will get frustrated trying to kill against power weapons. Primary weapons just aren’t powerful enough to compete against them.
3 hit melee also is also bad change...crazy.
Players will clump together and games will be so frustrating. I have games where players teamshot from spawn the entire match and just switch lanes. Or run around hand in hand all match. So afraid to leave each other. So afraid of 2v1’s.
I have tons of players run from 1v1’s...that’s embarrassing and tells you everything. They dont have confidence in primary weapons at all.

I'd be happy with a melee buff. With nightsalker it can take 4 melee hits to take down full heath titan, 5 when one of them inevitable doesn't register. With no shield and less than half heath, single melee should be able to finish them off consistently. Lower overall TTK (and 6v6) will just lead to getting teamshot even faster. The lack of weapons like universal remote, no land beyond, icebreaker, ohk grenades, shoulder charge, throwing knife, etc., contribute to the current problem. D1 had ways to penalize teams that grouped up too much. 7th Column was a hero moment and took more than a lucky rocket to get. Lights Out is surprisingly rare given the tight grouping and requires either a super or a luck rocket (not as rare as Slayer or 7th Column though). The "overly balanced primary meta" will result in team shooting regardless of TTK for the balanced AF primaries

I feel more Power Ammo in PvP makes it seem a little like Mayhem. Weird.

These devs are incompetent. Its time to move on.

3 RespuestasIdk people have been having successful 1v1s in Halo for almost 2 decades. People just running away without a way to beat them was always a fault of a bad player and not the game.

3 RespuestasEditado por DuBChiri2: 3/30/2018 4:30:36 PMTechnically, besides handcannons and scouts at the end of year 3, about 60% of the weapons in the game were inaccurate (like as bad as increasing the impact on hard light was) without certain perks. Bungie improved the overall utility of almost all the guns in destiny 2 besides some outliers but most weapons can easily hit their mark...besides omolon handcannons XD Nerfs were the shit that screwed up Destiny 1, and it got so bad that weapons became almost unusable without counterbalance or some other form of stability mods. But all this crap is off-topic. I think increasing the amount of power ammo was actually a good idea. It keeps people moving and it breaks up teams to get them to go grab the ammo on the ground. I've only done a couple of games, but power ammo has done nothing but get people moving (and the increase to mobility) and unless you are using a shotgun or rockets, things aren't as easy. I've been using a linear fusion rifle and it has its kinks, but they are absolutely usable now and the increase to power ammo gives them a chance to be relatively good. As for clumping together, that wouldn't actually be what happens. Power ammo never makes people clump together because it could be rockets or a full auto shotgun, but what would possibly happen is camping. But personally I haven't gone against any of that or nearly as much team shooting so there's a good chance the game won't make it easy enough to camp our too hard to take down power weapons. Just fly in there and down some scrubs.

Just spamming heavy all day long
-
So, to fix the problem, buff melee, buff primary weapons, buff grenades, done!
-
Lolz. I don't get this company. They slowly take away the heavy in D1 and special due to issues. Now they backpedal and make it more readily available. I'm glad most other devs aren't as f-ed up as this one.

1 RespuestaI main Hunter,and I don't have the biggest problem with heavy. But,played 2 matches,invisible Hunter sword,im dead,rinse and repeat. Shut pvp off,just horrible.

6 RespuestasMore power ammo, supers, abilities and grenades is what this lifeless game needs. Just buffing primaries would have been more of the same.
-
6 RespuestasActually that's what we did want. The game needed more ways to break up team shooting. Because one of the big problems of Season 1 and 2 was that there was so little risk involved in standing shoulder to should with people and team shooting, that there was practically no other way to effectively play the game. The buffs to power ammo availability and to super and ability cooldowns will help. The issue is that the game also needed a faster TTK in order to make 1v1s more decisive, and less pressure on players to feel like they needed to team shoot to be successful. Unfortunately, Bungie's still unwilling to hear that TTK needs to get faster so that primary weapons can keep up with play...and you dont' have to team shoot in order to be a credible threat with one.

2. Significantly improve in air accuracy. The whole game focuses on guardians gliding/hopping through the air. Why the hell can't they shoot a weapon in the air? 3. Revert to Primary, Special, Heavy. 4. Overhaul character skill-tree system so players have ability to customize and choose their builds 5. Re-implement random rolls on more easily attainable weapons.
We want more hero moments buy buffing Primary weapons back to Destiny 1.
The pay to win revolution is now! Players finally want to buy their way in to power. Can’t wait to throw money at my screen to win in the crucible. I jest, of course. Stronger weapons in general would be nice. A fourth weapon for D1 special weapons would also be great. That, or a return to Primary, Special and Heavy.

9 RespuestasJust play Destiny 1. Problem solved. Destiny 2 IS NOT Destiny 1. Not sure how you seemed to overlook this very simple matter.

8 RespuestasEditado por meatballsublime: 3/29/2018 6:44:38 PMAgreed... With all of the complaining that happens on these forums, I don't remember a single person say "we need more and more frequent power ammo!!!" Also, on your point with melees - Worst case, melee's should be a 2HK for full health guardians. 1HK with no shields. - With shoulder charge, it should either be a 1HK or it should allow for a quick follow-up melee. I could go either way on that one, especially now that shoulder charge requires a melee charge to activate.

2 Respuestas"I have tons of players run from 1v1’s...that’s embarrassing and tells you everything. They dont have confidence in primary weapons at all" It does tell us everything, Seems to be the players fault to me if ones running from a fight rather than finishing it. What you're asking is for weapons to do all the work by buffing damage for the player rather than the player learning to use the weapon
-
6 RespuestasYup and as such go look at player numbers. Their big buff fest and associated advertising blitz did nothing for them. Working as intended. One of these days they are going to have to listen rather than just saying they are listening and we hear you only to then go and do what ever in the hell they feel is right.

Crucible has always had an unusually high rate of special weapon usage and success even during Thorn and tlw eras.
