High-Res textures eat up a huge amount of storage space, and say what you will about the gameplay, Destiny 2 is a [i]very[/i] pretty game. It takes a lot of room to get dolled up like this. And even if you're running on lower quality settings, it still needs the high-res originals to downsample from.
