So I’m confused because Bungie is the best at delivering word candy and dancing around hot topics, especially pertaining to the time to kill.
Are we actually getting reduced time to kill or are they just saying screw you and you just feel like the time to kill is slow but it is not slow? I’m so sick of this guessing game. I’m glad they are bringing back titan-skating and everything but where is the reduced time to kill? Maybe they are bringing it back and I don’t understand but it just feels like they keep dancing around the topic.
Maybe the time to kill is higher because all the weapons are trash now with shitty perks, especially the pulse rifles. Who even knows anymore? I just want this broken game fixed so I can have fun like on Destiny 1.
I miss Destiny 1. 😔

Editado por Uncanny_Vale: 3/21/2018 12:24:22 AMHave they turned that magic dial that reduces TTK? No - does one exist? I’m not sure? I guess if you buffed the damage equally on every weapon (or reduced the health of players) you would reduce the TTK. What they have done instead is reduce the impact team shooting will have in the game - which is why people wanted a shorter TTK in the first place right? Firstly they’ve buffed a lot of weapons (decreasing the TTK of those weapons). Secondly they’ve lowered super and ability cooldowns (more supers and grenades means more power to destroy bunched up teams with one hit kills). Thirdly they’ve given us more power ammo - giving us access to the powerful OHK weapons that can take out entire teams (like in D1). We will now be able to break up teams with rocket launchers for example or pick them off from a distance with snipers. Fourthly they’ve increased movement speed giving us the ability to escape from gunfights more quickly. I have no idea if any of this will work or not. I suspect it will be a hot mess - like mayhem in D1. But maybe that’s a good thing at the moment? I’m sick of every PvP match being a carbon copy of the last one. It’s balanced yes, but it’s boring. I say bring on the mayhem. That’s what we wanted wasn’t it? More D1 style PvP - looks like that’s what we’re getting.

Editado por EdeTheGod: 3/20/2018 11:11:08 PMOnly if it's across the board. Everyone else's melee kills in one hit; mine takes three, deliberate, stabs and a willing or confused stabee. And, my Mida kills in 17 headshots (rare kills seeing as how I have to reload after 16, if I can hit them) every-one else’s takes 1. I wonder why that is....? Wish the red bar indicator was still there so at least I'd know....

18 RespuestasSo you want to be team shot faster?
-
10 Respuestasone, the current time to kill is fine. it requires more skill than just being the first person to shoot
-
6 RespuestasThe game simply doesnt need it. It needs improving so that when you're in cover you don't die cos the last bullet that hit you took an extra second to register. Time to kill is fine and if you manage to duck for cover then good for you. That being said it's gonna be interesting what the buffs will do with this game.
-
I don't care if we do or don't. But some people already have the lower ttk due cheating or lag, whatever it is. Can't tell how many times I've faced an opponent across the corner kill me in less than blink of an eye with Uriels or Antiope -.-

1 RespuestaI gave up a while back lol
-
32 RespuestasI hope they dont lower it. Maybe people will learn not to whine" OP this ...OP that.." Resulting in unneeded nerfs.
-
1 RespuestaNeeds to be lowered, but its not. They listened and skirted around the issue. Same old shit.
-
2 RespuestasNo we arent. Instead they are increasing power ammo and removing radar. PVP director is trash.
-
No, but what you will receive is a lower quality of development of the game from here on out!

1 RespuestaEditado por Soul_Eater_42: 3/20/2018 4:04:43 PMNope. As usual, they're implementing their signature roundabout solutions instead of addressing the issue directly. Players wanted a faster TTK through buffing Kinetic and Energy weapons across the board, instead Bungie thinks that an increase to the Power ammo economy, movement speed, and balancing weapons around the 450 RPM autorifles is better.
-
No lol you can however run slightly faster to get teamshot.
-
2 Respuestasttk isn't the problem...it's sluggish movement that doesn't allow you to escape team shooting or turn around and hit crits and overcome being the second to engage and smaller maps are the problem. i think that the changes they're making will help crucible play much better. of course, this is my opinion based on what i can picture in my mind. i might be wrong, but again, ttk isn't necessarily the issue despite what those youtubers say. remember they're just geeks like us that happen to stream their play

1 RespuestaNope. They want this game to be halo even though halo still exists and no-one plays it....
-
16 RespuestasWhere did they say they would reduce TTK?
-
I'm just excited for the constant rocket usage now
-
Our movement speed gets a buff, some weapons get a buff, super recharge rate gets a buff, some ammo spawns sooner. Hmm, with this increased movement speed, we can head back to D1 faster.
-
7 RespuestasNot really and team shooting will be worse since people can run away faster
-
it is stated clearly that we are not
-
Its to balance gunplay and because guns are now non canon and are considered lore. with faster movement speeds and the ttk staying the same guardians will now run into one another like bowling balls, in order to finish their fight with a good old fashion fista'cuffs.
