Well done, like seriously well done. Everything is earned from playing and the pvp event sounds interesting.
Great step, one which you can never go back on, these events are paid for using micro transactions..... Not cash generating events.
Hopefully something else for pve, apart from just do the normal stuff you do weekly...... Hint hint.

17 RespuestasStill buy the crap with bright dust, so yeah microtransacton are still there.
-
No microtransactions so all people have to complain about now is "these are just reskins, bla, bla, bla....."

5 RespuestasEditado por tesc22: 2/9/2018 5:58:21 PMWow we can drop ghost shells shaders and sparrows instead of weapons and armors !

10 RespuestasWhat do you mean well done? Like seriously well done? NOT charging money for an in-game event deserves praise? You kidding me? This should be the -blam!-ing norm! This should be how it is from the very get-go! After slowly spitting in their players faces for a couple of months with microtransactions and secretly making changes in the game without saying anything about it, going back to Destiny 1 is deserving of a pat on the back? No -blam!-ing way.

58 RespuestasEditado por TheShadow-cali: 2/8/2018 7:33:01 AMIt doesn't matter if there is or isn't. They had Dawning that was the biggest cash grab in this games history and they threw in this carrot and you bit real hard into it as usual. They don't care now knowing how much money they made off of Dawning. I just think it's funny as hell how gamers like you fall for this every time. Bungie has been doing this since D1. One cash grab even't and the next one they will throw in a couple carrots, another cash grab and the next one some carrots. Dawning the biggest cash grab yet and Crimson the carrot. Boy does Bungie have you trained well. Look guys! they are giving us trinkets and not a bunch of stuff put behind a paywall knowing at this point they should be adding actual content to the game that isn't removed. Not that they offerd any real content anyways so why not praise them right? See, "they are listening." Then comes the gamers after anyone points out the truth. You're just a hater and blah blah blah. "Bungie is trying to improve the game" No, you just got played and you played out their game that they had planed before D2 was release. Bravo! Here, you want to give them credit. How about give them credit when they stop the cash grabs and teaching kids and teens how to gamble.

1 RespuestaBungie can't be trusted anymore. Their find away to mess this up. Probably lower exp rates, give you the same drops or limit/time cap rewards. Then come out and apologise... again.
-
7 RespuestasNo I'm sorry not well done..more like "thank -blam!- you are not completely intent on destroying every shred of respect and loyalty you're brand has"
-
8 RespuestasThere's 10 players playing the game. They have no choice.
-
1 RespuestaAnother purely cosmetic event, wooh!
-
11 RespuestasIt sounds like a step in the right direction, but there are absolutely micro transactions. Tess is selling the items, just not the engrams. Anyone wonder if the stuff she's selling might happen to drop a lot less frequently to encourage people to buy it? Still, if you like a maybe sweatier than trials PVP experience (i.e. a stacked team of 2 vs randoms over and over), then this will be great.

20 RespuestasEditado por JHarv: 2/7/2018 7:57:57 PMExcept how do you get bright dust? You buy engrams and dismantle loot. Until the loot itself drops from game content and not slow rank up's, there's still a problem.

Crucible still sucks... TTK and they enforce holding hands. Remember old Crimson Days where me and my significant other split and pincered and it worked. They do everything half assed.
-
18 RespuestasHold your horses. They said we could get 'Most' items as a reward. I didnt see that crimson armor in the engram preview. My guess is theres 2 tiers to rewards like how the dawning had dawning gifts with the crap stuff. Then dawning engrams with the armor etc. Theres no way this event wont have chase items. If it doesnt ill be back to admit im wrong.

8 RespuestasYes, but now you can’t write posts in #offtopic or #gaming unless you bought D2 and arrived at the farm. So what Bungie giveth with one hand, it taketh away with the other!
-
2 RespuestasGuess what! There is still Tess begging for you silver dust! Transaction Days here we come!
-
7 RespuestasBut there are no new weapons or armour for people to collect...
-
18 RespuestasI think it is good that they took this step for Crimson Days. It is a step in the right direction. But I wonder, Bungie, what would you have done with Crimson Days if we hadn't clogged 34 pages of your forums with #RemoveEververse? I can't help but think that Crimson Days would have been very different if we didn't intervene.....do you understand what I am saying? You may have finally done something smart for once in the past 2 years, but you aren't going to convince me that your heart was in this decision. I know what you would have liked for Crimson Days, but once again we stepped in and stopped you cold.

If this thing goes off without a hitch and people are not reporting duplicates then we can give them a green check mark for once.

2 RespuestasUnfortunately I don't like the state PvP is in, or the entire game for that matter. One dinky event for a PvP mode that is 0 fun isn't bringing me back. "Wow, bungie isn't trying to milk its playerbase this event!!11!". Yeah, wow. Too bad Bungie's reputation can't be absolved from all the money grabbing shit they have done in the past... Like the dawning, this entire game, etc. Good on Bungie for trying to put a bandaid on a cut artery, but this game is hemorrhaging players. 7 months to wait for the sequel this game should have been is just pathetic. I don't know how they -blam!- up shit that works. Or is fun. Destiny 1 PvP used to be fun. Then they nerfed and nerfed it to shit. D2 was already almost no fun so now they've trying to buff little bits of fun into it. Backward ass design and not working.
-
13 RespuestasHow about they use that microtransaction money and put it towards actual content instead of one ghost one sparrow and a dance emote.
-
1 RespuestaEditado por Jokerman: 2/7/2018 7:22:59 PMThe heat is hot now but don't worry they'll be back at it soon enough and you will still thank them
-
2 RespuestasConsidering the outcry over the Dawning they had little choice except to do this. They get no brownie points from me.
-
2 RespuestasWhat a relief! Now, just remove Eververse altogether and happy days...
-
8 RespuestasDon’t care. It’s still garbage. So are you for kissing their butt over useless shit.
-
5 RespuestasEverything can be obtained through playing, and lots can be bought too with bright dust, which can be bought with real money gambling. Like the majority of cosmetic crap in D2. I'm not seeing much of a difference tbh. MTs are optional in D2 as it is, no? Monetary purchases haven't been entirely removed for Crimson cosmetics have they? What I am seeing is another event devoid of anything other than cosmetic crap. No gameplay affecting loot. And as usual, the sheep lapping it up. (Although the strike mashup looks cool...but your thread relates to MTs)

Looking forward to Crimson Days as well. It will certainly be better than the nightmare we got from them last Valentine's day.
