The sad truth is, it’s not fun and has zero variety. All people do is use the same 3 guns, lag, cheat, teamshot, and treat the rest of the community like garbage. You get nothing when you lose and the only winners are persons who fit the descriptions above. It makes sense for losers to get nothing, but giving them absolutely nothing, not even a single token, can lock away many bits of content paid for in the game. I did NOT say this because I think everyone should get a special gun, but the fact that regular players can spend hours of their lives playing the game and not be rewarded for it is one of the things that the community has hated since the original destiny. The cheaters go unpunished because the report system isn’t ever looked at by Bungo due to them too busy crying about how people aren’t buying their bright engrams. The game is dying and the ones killing it are the ones responsible for making broken systems in both multiplayer and PvE. Nothing has been done about it, and I doubt that Bungo has intention to fix network experiences based on the fact that NAT type 3 people are constantly removed from the servers and are susceptible to unfair game experiences. The “Ranked” PvP system is flawed majorly as well, due to there being 2 ranks: Diamond (you played one match this week) or the master rank for the top 20 players in the world, meaning a 200+ flawless can go up against players who haven’t won a single trials game in their life. This fact drives down morale and is killing the game’s atmosphere. Feel how you want. Call people noobs or tell them they suck. If you do, you’re tearing what little of the community is left apart so you can get your precious flawless. Hope it’s worth it, sweats. Hope the money was worth it, Bungo.
