We have a black history month, an Asian history month, a Hispanic history month, a white history month, etc. But we have no months dedicated to anime. This is simply animationist. Animationists will use excuses like, "anime isn't real", "all of the characters are over exaggerated", and "3D > 2D". Prejudice and bigotry like this is simply not ok in today's society. Anime has made many contributions to the world. In fact, even though they don't tell you this in high school, the Egyptians [i][b]were anime[/b][/i]. Shocker, I know, but it doesn't end there. Julius Caesar? [i]anime[/i] Charlemagne? [i]anime[/i] King Arthur? [i]anime[/i] Napoleon? [i]anime[/i] Socrates? [i]anime[/i] Beethoven? [i]anime[/i] George Washington? [i]anime[/i] Abraham Lincoln? (We're still debating that) But as you can see, anime has been behind just about all of western civilization and more. There were plenty more I could have listed but didn't for the sake of time.
