She was given the job to write Black Widow. It was supposed to be a 3 part solo outing for Black Widow.
1. Forever Red, which was widely received as a major overhaul of Black Widow that NOBODY asked for
2. Red Vengeance, the second installment which received lower sales than the final issue of Civil War II (that's really bad)
Literally so bad, that comic websites WON'T label that solo outing, and just places it inside the issue numbers instead (think about things like Spider-man : Back in Black as a solo outing, and Spider-Man Issue 207 as issue numbers)
and then she was removed from the project before writing Red Resurgence (due to declining sales figures in anything containing Black Widow, including Captain America Steve Rogers)
Now you might think, hey writers sometimes don't do great (BENDIS I'M TALKING TO YOU), but this got to the point where Marvel has actually had to kill Black Widow off (in Secret Empire).
Let me get you to Captain Marvel. She was placed on this role because specifically they wanted to start creating a more 'Inclusive' character (some will say SJW, you decide yourselves). Needless to say, this created the most widely hated run on this character to date. Not only did it turn her character from a cocky, alcoholic fighter pilot in to an angry, aggressive, manic of a character, it lead to her being seen as literally the villain of her own comic. Surprisingly enough, Marge told a better story about the Skrulls, than she could about her title character.
I'm not going to make you take my word for it, I'll link you the physical comic run she did

Fortunately for her, Marvel Legacy showed up and saved her ass from the bonfire.
The largest evidence of her critics lies in the fact that she took a mature themed character (due to the complexities and politics of interstellar empires/villains/etc) and dumbed it down for 12 year olds.
This is a general example of who she is in the industry of Marvel (which she is in the process of being replaced during Marvel Legacy) but there's more details you need to know.
The reason she was hired, was because her Brother. David Stohl.
He runs the Game Studio 'Infinity Ward' which is owned by *drumroll*
Activision.
This person was not hired because of merit. She was hired because of privilege.
This is the same person who just claimed 3 years of lore is up for retcon at any moment she desires
This is a person who will single handedly turn something you love (Captain Marvel) and twist it in to something you hate
I'm a very serious Marvel comics fan, and their introduction of this poisonous writer has influenced more than what she has written, and any other reader will most likely concur on this subject.
Now, I have a hard time believing this is going to see many people's eyes, because unless I'm a famous 'Content Creator' but honestly if it sees one other person's eyes, that's what matters.
Don't accept her behavior. Put her out on her ass before Lord Saladin starts calling you all bigots.
Please, if the remaining people on these forums are actual fans, you will stop her in her tracks now. Hashtag spam, or whatever you guys do, but if you don't immediately draw the line HERE, then you're going to see your game become another moronic indoctrinated pile of garbage

The statement of "not hired on merit, hired because of privilege" is false. We have heard the feedback in regards to Grimoire, Lore, and the tweet made by Stohl on December 19, 2017. An additional tweet for some clarification was posted over the weekend (link). Christopher Barrett has also tweeted the following:
"The Grimoire is an important foundation to the lore and world building of Destiny. We need many more stories and tales like it. That's where we're headed."

1 RespuestaEditado por Black Howling: 1/29/2018 1:40:01 PMThis is really disheartening. Yet at the same time, not in the least surprising.

2 RespuestasIt’s already become an infantile mess of a game, every character as come straight out of telly tubbies. The writing and characters are a -blam!-ing joke, none likeable none worth listening to. I play the game now just to run around and shoot stuff for a few hours.

1 RespuestaEditado por Divine_Majin93: 1/29/2018 12:52:18 PMI saw many things coming with this game. Many of the things people complain were talked about or presented from the start. The only reason I continued was for the lore and of course, my best friends who refused to see the light. Fast forward, and we've all left mainly due to them being so disappointed. But this whole lore thing has taken me off guard. I can understand every universe having their own in universe legends and what not. But when they are presented as a sort of fact for so long with no emphasis that they are legends in a highly advanced world, that's when I start to draw the line. I don't quite like being invested in a story just so half of it can be disregarded at a moment's notice. This is why I don't read comic books as I can never keep up with original continuity. This whole notion that a story needs rebooted/retold every 1-2 years has really ruined story telling in this day and age as far as I'm concerned. And I hate to see Destiny potentially suffering the same fate. This revelation and this revelation alone has absolutely killed any enthusiasm I had about this game and it's universe. To me, there is simply no reason to invest myself in it. Why should I when they admit what I know and love about it can be tossed aside whenever they want? This upcoming patch really had me convinced to come back if only for a little while. But I think I'll stay gone instead.

9 RespuestasI really want to thank anyone upvoting this post. I've been reading Marvel comics since I was 12 years old, and I've been around for many amazing, and many terrible writers. My favorite writer by far, is Jonathan Hickman, the man who made the legendary New Avengers run that exploded the sales of an already popular comic. Ever since All New All Different Marvel showed up, we've seen our core characters either get killed off, or downright neutered in the interest of pushing a social agenda. Tony Stark was 'killed' during Civil War II. Tony Stark. The Iron Man. You think she won't kill Cayde 6 if given the chance? So again, thank you guys and girls, it means a lot.

1 RespuestaI had friends take the mick and say that D2 felt like Marvel-trash, needless to say, was pretty hilarious finding out who the narrative lead was and is.

2 RespuestasBump. Get this SJW dumbed-down-for-teens trash out of the Destiny universe.

1 RespuestaSo to sum this up, this is a pure evil SJW writer who ruins everthing she touch's? If she actually turns out to be worse than bungies current writers, Destiny is %100 -blam!-ed.

4 RespuestasWatch her bring back the exo stranger and screw it up.

8 Respuestasa game that is already in the sh*tter.... isn't likely to be able to hire decent people, they can forget people with very high skills. so they go for the poor choices, this game is going deeper and deeper into the shitter. my advice: stop playing this franchise let it die, and just remember the good old days when you were playing destiny 1.
-
It's not the devs fault, they made the game how they like it, it's your's, you keep complaining about it, stop it, IT'S JUST A GAME

Editado por Senor Crouch: 1/29/2018 3:15:03 PMOh good, I am so glad the story is in such great hands. I can't wait for a Star Wars Ep 8 Casino scene in Destiny 3. Oh boy! Good luck Bungie trying to regain trust from us with stupid decisions like these.

I’m beginning to think that Bungie is just becoming a stepladder company. You get the job, make your name with the company, and then move on to better things like the old crew did. Except without the structure of the old team, the stepladder is falling apart. Instead of following a pattern of success, all these newbies are trying to forge new paths that no one wants to follow. The path is there for a reason, follow til you know it by heart, then you can explore freely without the chance of getting lost.
