I really don’t like this new narrative of people thinking if a game isn’t watched on twitch it’s dead. Plenty of solid games never get on twitch. And as soon as they implement a solid rank system and rework the weapons people will watch. Most things on twitch are bandwagon streamers chasing donations

Editado por Sage 13: 1/25/2018 7:17:33 PMWell, when Bungie says a lot of the changes they made were so that D2 could become a reputable e-sport and so it can gather more viewers on Twitch, and the game proceeds to do the complete opposite of what it was supposed to do, then I think it’s fair to use Twitch views as a metric of success for D2, since Bungie wanted to do the same.

Twitch has become an important part in the gaming industry. Higher viewership shows interest in the game, and it's basically free advertising on top of that. People go to twitch to see new games that came out to see if they look like something they want to purchase. If you go in twitch, and see destiny 1 doing better than D2 in viewers that's a bad sign.

Bump. I always go on twitch to check new games out. No hyped up adverts or trailers. Just real gameplay by real people.

Then you have people like me that are adults, lifelong gamers but just don't care to watch others play.
