You can cancel Destiny 3, no one cares anymore.
Unless you are going to devote 100% of your man power to fixing the collosal F up that is D2 then you can just shut down production of D3, no one is going to buy your new game having seen how little you care about your past one.

They are wanting Destiny to be watchable, with pro teams and sponsors. That’s why they are forcing Forge, Gambit, Crucible and Iron Banner. PvE takes more money to make and has a shorter shelf life so it’s being phased out. I don’t think that 3 will have any campaign at all.

By the time D3 comes out Destiny's competitors - who've been busy advancing forwards while Destiny struggles just to stay relevant - will be so far ahead of D3 it just won't be worthwhile playing.

Knowing it be on sale and 80% of the players gone after a few months. I’d say on sale a few months after release is the way to go
