Oh come on.
What enjoyment do you get out of running backwards and forwards to the same chest ?
The new weapon thing I don't understand but stopping the ridicules farming from the first event was inevitable. I'm not even sure what was fun about farming that way.
What's hard here, loot sector, public event, loot sector, public event add infinitum or just play the game and you get tokens.
Why do you people always want this shit so easy, easy if very f*8king boring.

Editado por SilentWispa: 1/17/2018 1:11:11 PMBut being locked out for 2 chests in 10 minutes is ridiculous and overkill. The 2nd Faction Rally I did every lost sector in the EDZ. I didn't fast travel and sparrowed everywhere, stopping to do public events and kill majors along the way. That is as legit playing and discovering the map as you can be and I still often opened more than 2 chests in 10 minutes.
-
Its very very very simple. Do loot sectors for ten min, your milestone is done. Do what you say you used to and all will be fine, you'll be swimming in tokens before you know it, in fact you don't even need to go down a lost sector again, just do public events and open chests and youll be token rich in no time. Its a non story for whinging gits, if bungie wanted you to farm something people would whinge about that too.
-
Editado por SilentWispa: 1/17/2018 1:26:24 PMNot the point, a 10 minute cooldown after only opening 2 chests in 10 minutes is overkill for the issue they were trying to fix and takes away even more incentive to do a particular activity.
-
I'm sure it isn't, not the answer you want so not the point your making. Whatever man.
-
Exactly. I don’t know why people are complaining I got over a 100 tokens in less then a hour doing public events. It’s not that hard
-
You don't even to do just public events, just about anything turns them up.
-
Yup I just like doing public events I guess. I hate crucible and strikes take way too long

Personally it's just annoying that they continue to force everyone to play a certain way, especially with all of the issues and bugs that have occurred or are still present. Seems like they have a lot more to focus on instead of spending time and resources to dictate how the game should be played by everyone. If someone wants to farm the chests why does that matter. And if someone wants to play the game without doing that then that shouldn't matter either. But to try to force one way over the other is going to piss people off. The only real downside to letting people farm chests or whatever is the end result of the faction rally I guess. But people have been looking for farming runs and exploits way back since D1 so they had to at least assume that some players would continue to do this so it's weird they'd even set it up like this (instead of D1s format that focused on the player and not the entire population).
-
Well probably because they feel they have to farm if its available to do so. It kind of makes a mockery of any progression system if you can just bypass it. I just feel if people had to farm they would be complaining about that too But overall the post was about why the hell would you want to run up and down the same bit of real estate opening the same chest for three hours ! The tokens are no use after you have the small amount of items and you cant carry them over. I just don't get it.
-
I'm pretty sure the post was about how rediculous it is that you can't open 2 chests in 10 minutes
-
"Jesus christ... Throttled all lost sectors so what if players were gaining 500 tokens per hour???" hmm "That is the point of faction rally that only lasts a week to get tokens and they would throttle it??" Err nope, don't think so, but hey if you think so knock ya self out. Even that's a ridicules post, you can get 100 tokens an hour just playing the game, doing public events, killing yellow bars, doing lost sectors.
-
It's not my personal choice of how I'd want to play either but that's my point lol. We don't have to get it...if someone says they enjoy playing that way then that should be good enough. The game is meant for everyone to enjoy and as long as something isn't negatively affecting everyone it really shouldn't matter. Again the result of the faction rally could have a negative effect on everyone so I get that argument. But again bungie had to know that people would find a way to farm/grind/exploit this current token system. So why would they even design it based on the assumption that everyone plays the same way and by their "rules"?
-
So you should be able to just run the same callus checkpoint over and over. Keep the same card for 7 wins and delete the loss for the flawless ? I'm sure some people would love to do these things. The exploit should never have been in the first place, like many other exploits it should never have occurred, the timer should have been in from the start and then no problem would have occurred. Bungo cocked up again and the players found an "exploit" to exploit. As I said the question I asked is why was you would want to do it and not why you should be allowed to. Good day and good luck
-
People would want to do it for the loot, mind blown right. And there's a difference between Lost Sectors and the raid, or trials. Lost sectors give you basic loot, such as blues and tokens. Where as with the raid, you can only run it once per character to get Legendary or Exotic gear, so even if we got that same end checkpoint it wouldn't matter if it's on that one character
-
You do not need 500 tokens for the loot, the faction loot isn't even very good, what weapon do use regularly from the first one then. The loot is irrelevant, you wouldn't farm sectors without the tokens so why start now. Just play the game man, just do random shit and you get lots of tokens. What fun is there running up and down a corridor for hours ?
-
Well it's more fun than actually playing the game, there's always that chance to get an exotic from getting an engram from a faction.
-
I mean I was specifically speaking to the lost sectors for the faction rally. But I get your point I guess. And I can't answer that question for you and I doubt anyone can really. Seems a silly question to ask in my opinion as I don't see how it really matters. But to each their own I suppose.
-
It probably is a silly question but when the forums are full of people complaining they cant do it then I am interested why any one would possible want to do it. Especially when if any farming is required then its usually also a point for complaints Bores the ass of me in five minutes. Anyway, lets agree to disagree. Cheers
-
Fair enough can't argue with that
-
Whats fun?? The goal was to get those coins so you have more odds of getting the weapons/armors you want from the faction rally. Racing the players doing it with you. Gained friends doing that. Same thing in D1 I've made friends doing the loot cave back in D1 lol
-
The loot cave I can understand but this faction stuff is not rare and is mostly crap. Seems boring as hell to me running up and down the same bit. Whats to stop you doing this racing thing from just playing the game ?
-
It aint boring if youre actually getting REWARDED FOR YOUR TIME
-
Its boring, if they asked you to do it you would whinge the f**k out of it.
-
Exactly dont defend them they even -blam!-ed it up by no new weapons/amor for this rally lol did they even fixed the Warlock bug in Mayhem??
-
Where did I defend some one ? Don't bring in all your other shit that has nothing to do with what I said.. Your whining about not being able to do something boring and repetitive over and over for hours. If they asked you to do that shit in the game you would whinge about that too. Good day
