Not everybody who disagrees with you is a fanboy
This forum is for discussion. Your way being the only way is the quickest means of squashing out that discussion. I miss when this forum used to bounce ideas off of one another. Now it’s just a name calling hive mind. If I disagree with you I’m not a fan boy, and if you disagree with me you’re not instantly dismissed either.

4 RespuestasI don't really mind being called a fanboy. I am a fan of Bungie. Have been for a long time. Do I think Destiny 2 could have been better? Yes. I just can't get into it like I could Destiny 1. I haven't logged into Destiny much after finishing the CoO. But with the release of the development update, I remain optimistic and hope it can keep me coming back. If you have this paradigm that the game will never get better no matter what, then it wont. No matter how good the game becomes, with that mindset, you will only focus on the negatives to support your belief. It's almost like wearing glasses with lens that filter out the positive.

Even defends them when they themselves have admitted to giving the fans the shaft. Overlooks all the proven lies they've been telling since 2012. Just blind loyalty like the sheep they are. Bites your head off if you even suggest something in this game is wrong or not perfect. They're total bend overs and love it. You'll spot them easily, because they'll get upset and respond at posts like this. Their reactions confirm them as fantards as I call them.

Salties throw that out there like it’s some sort of cut down, while failing to realize how HC fanboy they really are. The salt levels have infected this community. There’re still people on here worth communicating with, unfortunately their posts are usually downvoted into oblivion because they do not align themselves w/ the NaCl players.

There's this group of people, lets call them "thinkers" They possess the rare ability to look at a situation and draw an unbiased conclusion. They may not like microtransactions, but they won't support an argument standing on rotted out chopsticks. They realize that microtransactions are here to stay, so they don't fight their presence, just their degree of implementation. Pay-2-Win is the line that cannot be crossed. They understand that fixing things takes time, rushing a patch is a good way to break more, so they don't expect things to get patched the next day, or even week. They also know that consoles automatically add a week or two to every patch release due to quality control checks by Sony and Microsoft Studios. They paid attention, and realize this game isn't supposed to satisfy the appetite of a hardcore gamer, as those types of systems are usually counter to attracting a larger casual audience. So they don't expect the game to change what it is. They recognize when someone is grasping at straws as a last ditch effort to keep their desired reality from crumbling, and will point that out, knowing nothing they say will change that players stubborn mind, but it will keep some others from buying their nonsense.

While you're not wrong, when something is as bad as d2 it's very difficult for some people to see how anyone could enjoy it. It's not even just the game at this point though. People have a hard time understanding how people support a company that's throttled everything including the life from this game. They lie tithe point they can't keep track of what they've already lied about So to most there has to be some level of fan boy to support and defend this at thus point.

Remember when we used to have forum titles? Man those were the days. Bungie.net has always been bad for civil discussion but I do agree it's gotten much worse than it used to.

I can say technically speaking, Destiny 2 is not a bad game. Sony based on how the game plays looks and sounds. It is actually better than Destiny 1 in a lot of ways, however the 3 major problems makes it less fun to play. 1. Loot is boring. We all know the reason why. 2. The RPG elements are even more bare bones than D1. 3. EverVerse has been getting way too much stuff. It's kinda hard to defend those 3 points.

This community does have a bad issue with calling anyone a fanboy or a hater just for disagreements. But to be certain the haters and fanboys do exist. Fanboys blindly believe in the company and the game, will defend it tooth and nail, and act like anyone that isn't having fun are just a bunch of whiners and haters. Haters blindly had the game without good reason, will bash even the best of what is being offered, and will call anyone that doesn't agree with the dick riders and fanboys just for enjoying the game even a little bit. Both also try to create loops and use logical fallacies in attempts to disregard the others opinions. Best example I can think of right now is when legitimate fanboys will tells those that are upset that they should stop playing the game if they don't like it and that their opinion is invalid because they are still playing, but if they have quit playing that also makes their opinion invalid because they don't play and should have no say so in how the game is changed. It's kinda maddening at times. The only ones we should be upset/angry at is Bungie for putting us in these positions and releasing and leaving the game in the state it is in.

If you want an honest discussion, then your side needs to stop telling those disappointed or dissatisfied to "git gud" or "just quit". Folks complain in the VAIN hope that BUNGLE will listen. Not everyone who dislikes this game is a 12 year old or balding virgin man living in momma's basement. MANY of us are grown men and women, who grew up with HALO and BUNGLE being a decent dev, one that our money and our time could be trusted with. After this debacle, that is no longer even debateable; they cannot.

My alignment will always range in the True Nuetral gray zone. Sometimes dipping into the Bungie defense (although, very little lately, this games got serious issues) to the flat out (and honestly childish for my age) slamming them to the ground.
