Though as I enjoy them all.
Sayrn Prime is amazing at wiping everything away.
Nekros is fun to farm with
Nova as a slova build can be fun for the whole team.
Nidus is probably my favorite overall, so long as a limbo or ember is present.
Rhino is invincible
Valkyr is a blast to play with warcry and hysteria
Banshee prime is fun to groundshake for 3-5 mins while looking like a badass.
Just recently bought an excal and I really enjoy him.
Octavia is fun.
Ember is fun with an ignis and infinite world on fire
Invis Loki is a blast to play.
I have a mirage prime I need to pick up and have vaubaan prime, trinity prime and hydroid Prime on the back burner. Should be interesting.

Absolutely hate slova, shit wastes my time and I'll just back out to find a new group if that happens.
Nova as a slova build can be fun for the whole team.
Not when grinding or farming on defense...
-
True but if grinding relics on a defense it can be beneficial on certain maps. IO, Jupiter comes to mind. I also don’t mind having one on Akkad if I’m only trying to grind for Neo relics. If I really wanted to farm or grind I’d try to look into a group though. You basically can’t have any of the OP crowd control ones from what I understand. Those tend to be my favorite ones to use though lol.
-
It really isn't. It just makes it take longer... You don't need that kind of cc on a def mission unless A) Your team sucks horribly B) You're doing a sortie eximus stronghold def If you're doing any kind of grinding or farming on def missions, bringing a slowva rather than a spova is not helping in any way. You're just making the process take longer than what it needs to.

I have Saryn Prime, but I still have to learn to play her
-
I think it’s range strength and some efficiency is what you should spec for. You molt, then use spore on it. The enemies shoot the molt destroying the spores(or you can if they aren’t.) This spreads them infecting more enemies. They in turn grow spores, die of strength is high enough or their level is low enough, spreading more spores and repeating the process.
-
Don't take this the wrong way, but you should really consider other builds for frames. Only building around one ability is limiting yourself. Spore builds get the job done, yes, but there's always other options which is something people seem to forget on this game. Other day I some guy giving me shit for not corner camping with her in survival and when I told him I was using a melee build, he tried to tell me I was stupid for doing so.
-
Haha I’m not taking this wrong but more so ironic. I’m not mad or anything but to say I should think of a different way to play but then say some one was mad that you were playing your way is too good to not call out. Again not mad. I enjoy how I play and have been messing with all my frames independently. I don’t care how others play so it shouldn’t bother you too much either man. Good luck Tenno 👍🏻

Editado por Upperclass Bum: 1/3/2018 8:41:12 PMI think you slightly missed my point though... My point is that a spore build isn't the only way to build or play Saryn (not saying you said that) and used that anecdote as an example of the mindset I regularly see on the game -- the mindset that there's only one way to build and use a frame and if you do anything else, you're an idiot (not saying you have that mindset). Not bothered, mad or anything of the sort when it comes to how someone plays or builds their frame (save for the Nova thing 'cause something like the effects the whole team) just pointing out that there are other options, not telling you that yoy have to do this or that with her. Nothing ironic about it.

I’ve played with other Sayrn builds. I’ve done a straight melee one and it’s fun. I still have it as a config. Most of my frames I have at least two config for them. A few that don’t are the few I have really yet to go back too now that I have more mods(rhino, mag, really come to mind.) Some configs only really effect less or more of something. I think my oberon and nova may have 3. I have a speedva and I also have one that is based just around antimatter drop. Whenever I really get into the plains I want to make one that is balanced between wormhole and null star. I def play with mods and how to play with frames.
-
I want to ask, where do you get (regular) oberon systems. I only get the chassis and neuroptics.
-
Should be from an eximus unit. I think if I’m not mistaken that the system are by far the hardest to get. Farm with a nekros if you can. May make it easier. He will always hold a special place as I used him for so much stuff. I didn’t know pre-rework oberon(heard he was awful) but the new one was an amazing work horse for me. Managed to complete a sortie early on as well. Mostly due to others pulling me through but I didn’t die once and help out as much as I could. My main build is his invincible build but I also have a radiation build and one that is similar to a invincible build but with emphasis on the range over strength. I almost have a prime one of him so I can’t wait to play as him.
-
Nice, btw what mastery rank are you?
-
Only a MR9. I’m about 1/6th away from MR10. I didn’t rank up enough weapons early on and I played passed my cap most of the time when I did. Really want to get MR12 as I’ve had a Tigris prime forever.
-
MR 7 although I've only played like an hour each day. For a month or two. (Same on tigris prime [mr 13 btw])
-
I know, but getting something to fall back on when you get overwhelmed is helpful. When you don't know a frame very well, you find one thing that works for you and work on it. When you perfect it, you can expand to other things and mixing them in. I like to take it slow and feel out different builds to find which works where and my person preferences.
-
My comment wasn't in regards to you or anything you said, but I understand your point. That said, sitting in one spot spamming spores (not knocking it, Saryn is my main and I do it all the time) on molt isn't going to help you learn the frame.
-
Yeah, I use molt as a "Hit THAT not ME" and run away to breath sort of thing.
-
That's what it was actually intended for, but at higher levels it can easily get shredded. Regen Molt is a pretty good augment. Problem is, if you're going for the typical, "proper" spore build with max range (250%) a bit of efficiency and strength, you won't have room for the augment unless you swap out vitality / vigor for it, but that's risky as you'd only have 375 health iirc.

Thanks, I'll try that
