the trouble with leaving it in is the status quo. 60-90% of all new items will only ever be in eververse. Regardless where no one pays for items or not.
Taking it out means the possibility of getting that cool looking armour as rewards from actual gamplay.

Your right. Having said that, if nobody pays ( which I've read countless posts from people paying from 100 to 10 dollars to get glamor items) they would have to put that stuff in the game. But to many people are spending the money so I don't think it will be gone. They are not going to cut off a revenue stream.

The whole game is build around eververse now. There isn't any going back for D2. For a looter shooter, this is a complete farse. Buying potential drops to make you look shiny. lol But stats from mobile games say that 3% of all players account for over 90% of mtx, so I don't think its going anywhere either.
