Prometheus lens is 100% how an exotic should feel. I am so tired of weak and
BS exotics to the point that people run around with legendaries and BLUES or even
greens in the crucible ? Come on.
Bring up the TTK in crucible across the board. Make some of the useless exotics do better.
This slow time to kill is boring. I genuinely have never had more fun in D2 crucible
than when I was using the lens. THAT IS WHAT AN EXOTIC SHOULD FEEL LIKE.
People ganged up on me, t-bagged, got real upset. It was so fun. I was NOT invincible.
[b]Look, The gun IS powerful Bungie already said it has a bug:
where it continues to damage after you stop hitting a target needs a fix (the gun doesn't
have a burn) and the damage numbers sometimes jump up for no reason -
that needs to be fixed. [/b]
But otherwise keep an exotic feeling exotic. You guys did the right thing buffing all
grenades to meet the pulse grenades. Lets make this more fun.
No nerfs. Buffs.

i agree but tbh i haven't played a game without everyone using it so i think everything else needs a buff or nerf it tbh. when everyone is using it for fear of being obsolete something is wrong.

This game shouldn't rely around complete luck it should rely around skill.... Why not just make things in pvp level based so noobies don't outgun you so you don't get upset?

Because skill does not equal light level or in other words time played. Why should someone who leveled up in pve have an advantage in pvp? Sounds pretty unfair to me. As for skill... yes, the lens was broken but with everyone using the same gun at least there was skill involved to get the kill and not be melted in return. And I'll openly admit it was fun while it lasted cause it made pvp a little faster again. Of course the movement and recovery were still lacking but at least the ttk was refreshingly fast... and tbf ttks under 1 second were normal in d1.

Well I agree with decreased TTK, but we need increased movement speed to compensate for us to be able to escape certain events like No Fun Police or Sheik has pointed out...

@Ravontulet Well said, sir. I've been savagely beaten up with the Prometheus lens and guess what.. I farmed exotic's and found the weapon and now I'm having fun. People just need to stop crying, they are just killing the game. How about the Legend of Acrius? this shotgun is also well overpowered in my opinion. one shot one kill and the distance doesn't matter. I gave Destiny a rest and moved over to WW2, because the game got boring.. Leave the Prometheus lens alone.. It's a fun weapon.

Yeah, and it's a power weapon. Which, you probably don't know this but you can't use it the entire match unlike the prometheus.

Yes, I knew that.. I’ve only been playing the game since day one alpha, so, I’ve seen good weapons come and go (nerfed). The prometheus lens gives the game a new edge instead of the same old boring exotics. You can only do some much with the same old stuff. D1 was new and fresh, D2 is same old crap as D1 let be honest. Maps and weapons from d1. Don’t get me wrong I like Destiny and I still play it.

I agree. If some people had their way they'd make this another COD - heck we are already pretty much their with toned down supers and a high TTK - except in COD - there is a much higher TTK. Its boring I want o see stronger exotics that deserve to be called exotics and a faster time to kill. Don't ruin stuff in PVE to suit PVP "balance" and make this game fun. The Lens is fun, I got outgunned and was not invincible. and besides the laser gives you away bigtime LOL

Honestly, gunfights against MIDA or Uriel's Gift are at least possible to win. Prometheus Lens takes no skill to use apart from some very basic tracking thanks to the AoE, and the kill time? It's ridiculous. You must miss Thunderstrike hitting from across the map, don't you. This gun is literally unfair advantage, not balanced at all, and fun to use only for the user. And buffing other weapons to this level is ridiculous as well. It needs a nerf and it needs it badly.

The Vigilance Wing is pretty good also, but I haven’t found an exotic yet that even compaires, even the raid shotgun, (I’d type it out but I’m not sure exactly how to spell it, lol.) the mida is only good because it was an original exotic in D1. IMO, the D1 exotics were hands down better feeling and more powerful, even after some heavy nurfs, then 99.9% of the exotics In D2. And before you start the “you don’t have any of them, so quit talking” bs, I have them all but the CoO exotics. Let the guns be OP. Let the true fan base of the game have what they want, because at the end of the day, the only people who will be spending money on this is die-hard Destiny fans, like myself. 👍
