They were listening.
You apparently weren’t.
Pulse grenades were OP, and virtually everyone argues they are. The did more damage than most power weapons and some supers.

In pvp they could have scaled the damage back against guardians. They did NOT need a pve nerf. They were NOT over powered. The other grenades needed a big BUFF to get them in line with the pulse grenades. Grenades SHOULD kick serious ass. We can only use 1 every few minutes. We cannot spam them. They SHOULD do a boatload of damage. My personal opinion.

They were overpowered in PVE as well...and way out of balance with the rest of the game's grenades. The issue is that people became reliant on them because we've been DPS throttled...and the games Power weapons are still underpowered. They buffed every grenade in the game---other than pulse grenades----which was the right thing to do. But they need to go further. They need to buff the game's power weapons as well. Which will do more to improve the PVE experience than just leaving pulse grenades OP to the point of nearly being broken.

But the solution in this instance needed to be buff everything else. Yeah yeah, I know...”blah blah power creep.” The thing is, they’ve drained the power to the point where there is nothing fun in this game. D2 actually needs a little power creep. This update desperately needed to be entirely devoid of nerfs, but they still obstinately do not get it.

Editado por TheArtist: 12/6/2017 4:12:44 PMI disagree. I think they did exactly what was necessary. They brought them down slightly....and then brought everything else (especially grenades...they basically buffed EVERY kind of grenade except pules) up. But if they had buffed everything to the level of brokenness of pulse grenades, you'd have pvp players howling (again) about "insta-death" and "cheap" ability kills. Hell, the expansion hasn't even been out 24 hours, and there are already posts calling for the new trace rifle to get nerfed.

So the same exact problem that led us to where we are today. I guess it’s time to accept that our guardians are now permanently reduced to shitty Spartan knock offs and move on. Makes me incredibly sad. Don’t get me wrong, I do love Halo. I just loved Destiny for different reasons. We did not need another (not as good) Halo, but here we are. The game I fell in love with in 2014 is now just a collection of fond memories.

Pulse grenades were never that powerful in D1. ...and they didn't just nerf them. They buffed EVERY OTHER KIND of grenade as well. Firebolts and Arcbolts are back to being powerful again. Which was a welcome sight for me.

Destiny 1 my most ever played and favourite game at the time will be remembered as it was. It was not perfect in anyway, but I enjoyed it allot and had a ball most of the time despite its inperfections. Destiny 2 all down the hill for me. Fine game, on its own, compare to D1 it missed the point in so many areas at what made the game worth playing. Maybe Bungie should have just sticked to 1 big expansion once a year and build upon it.
