Where did you leave your brain? You got the season 2 update. Are you going to get a 20$ dlc for free?🤔 no. That's how games work, it's no where near pay to win. I don't get your logic at all.
-
Yeah, this game sucks.

1 RespuestaNo it's not. Wtf why are people saying this

12 RespuestasEditado por CriminyJickett: 12/6/2017 3:50:24 PMI'm not sure what WoW is monthly, but back in my day, it was $15. That money goes to pay the developers their wages, keep their overhead current, and expand the company. You see, content doesn't magically create itself. It's created by people. Educated people. People who require paychecks. I'm not about to explain how economics works, but seeing as you don't know the difference in pay to play and pay to win, I'm tempted to. So, HEY DARRYL! If you want new, continuing content, you have to pay money so the developers can provide for their families. Sure, a lot of the money goes into the pockets of Activision's corporate officers, but that's a global issue that affects the whole economy, not just video games. Here's what it comes down to. You're upset over $20. If you're under 18 years old, I can get this. If you're over 18 years old, please, get a job.

5 RespuestasSo Prestige Nightfall and Prestige Raid are locked because you dont meet level requirements. Looking at your character you havent completed the normal one yet so why QQ.
Attention Seeker Discovered
4 RespuestasEditado por KayOsS882: 12/6/2017 3:35:57 PMCan you explain how it is pay to win??? If you think buying a dlc that includes new weapons and content is pay to win. I would like you to step out the room and GTFO. Some people like you are just ignorant and it is annoying.

3 RespuestasLoL Buying a DLC is not Pay to Win, It’s Pay to Play!
-
That's how this genre of game works. Caveat emptor.

28 Respuestasthis in NO WAY is pay to win. perhaps you should understand a term before you use it.... this is the SAME model they have used from the start, years of this and idiots are still not grasping this? if you don't have the current content, you are not locked out of anything, you just don't meet the requirements of the activity any longer. meaning the activity isn't for you anyway.... how can you expect to reap the benefits of the new stuff without paying for it?

Editado por Jacusky: 12/6/2017 3:34:54 PMI'm not sure you understand what "pay to win" means. "Pay to win" or P2W is what happens when a game offers a way to gain a statistical advantage over other players that cannot be obtained any other way but through real money investment or when the non-monetary form of obtaining said advantage is not reasonably equivalent to that of the monetary investment. For example, if Destiny 2 offered an exotic weapon in Eververse that was measurably more powerful than any other weapon in the game (even if only in one area of the game like PvP or PvE) and could only be obtain through Silver rather than randomly dropping in the appropriate engram (currently Illuminated Engrams), that is "pay to win." Alternatively, if you could get it with Bright Dust or as a random drop but the percentage was so abysmally low that it would take you weeks to obtain it while it was being sold for $5 of Silver then the time investment required is substantially disproportionate to the monetary investment and this is still considered "pay to win." What you're describing is called "content gating" and is, unfortunately, a normal business practice in online game development.

Who cares. When Bungie messed with D2 and moved away from what made Destiny rewarding I lost interest fast. Find a new game. I played a bit last night to see how the enhancements looked on the Scorpio.
-
5 RespuestasBungievision has not crossed that line....yet. There is nothing in the eververse store that you can buy to give yourself an advantage over all the other players in the game. I think you need to rethink what pay to win in a game is.
-
um i havent spent money since launch of the game.. and season to got 1 new exotic and 1 exotic engram.. people are talking about the new Lens and i dont have it so how it is pay to win? my friend i gifted her the expansion pass last night and she got the lens from her first strike and she has not bought anything but the game itself and was gifts the expansion pass.. so your theory is flawed

They have done this every dlc it’s nothing new. By the end of the cycle the whole game will be as cheap as chips.
