What? I spent more time and had more fun in D1 than almost any other game. I got sick of the content drought during ttk and RoI like everyone else, but when age or triumph sent the game off over summer it was very hard not thinking that D2 was going to -blam!-ing rule. So I got the season pass with all bells and whistles. My mistake. But shit happens.

Let's be honest, D2 isn't the first sequel, video game or otherwise, that disappointed.

Yes, sir. And reviews, faith in developers, previous products I enjoyed, advertising, and many other factors can lead me to purchase a product unseen. Especially if there is a bonus to purchase early with no additional cost.

Totally agree, there are reasons why people pre-order things. But how many times do you have to be unsatisfied with what you pre-ordered before those factors no longer justify the practice?

I didn't buy the DLC. I couldn't care less for it. I was merely saying to the OP, he shouldn't call himself stupid. Made a mistake? Maybe. Stupid? I think not. Thought I would point it out to him.
