Quick question: Do you think the game is worth 60 bucks at this state?

Considering games are 60 bucks and prices haven't gone up for a very long time, Yes. We are lucky games don't cost 100 bucks or more. What else has advanced as much as games and the price hasn't gone up? Nothing comes to mind at the moment for me at least.
-
But it does cost 95 bucks for the full game experience
-
Yes - time spent vs money paid. 280 hrs I think, so where else can you get entertainment for that price. No - most of the content was boring and tedious. Yes - had fun with friends. The game is basically done once you've completed your goals. I put it down once I platinumed. Still can't say it wasn't worth the price. Its just not attention holding like D1 was for me.
-
There you go, don't get me wrong I enjoyed the game but idea of paying more for ready of the game isn't really appealing
-
Yes, I bought both D2 and Assassin's Creed: Origins at the same time. I have roughly 150 hours on AC: O (game complete and nothing to do until DLC) and 580 thus far on D2. Both games were worth the asking price, imo. And, I feel I've gotten more value out of D2 than most other games, with the exception of D1, that I have paid the same price for.
-
No offense, sounds like you're the sucker that keeps coming back for more...
-
Only a sucker if you feel you've been taken. I don't have overly high expectations when I purchase a game. If the game entertains me then it was a good purchase; if it doesn't, then I chalk it up to experience and move on to the next game.
-
Same here.

A downvote for one word? KG, I think you have a fan following you.
-
I suspect that they are one or more vindictive trolls that I've muted. Who think it's funny (best case scenario) or think they can shut me up (most pathetic scenario) by following me around and downvoting all my posts. The real irony is that I really couldn't possibly care less. So they're expending all that energy to no effect...on me at any rate.
-
It's silly. I found the idea funny. So, I'm glad it doesn't bother you.
-
Absolutely, and the DLC will be one of the largest amounts of content outside of TTK, if Datto and the other YouTube stars are correct in their analysis. It's definitely worth $60 for the base game.
-
Yes. Easily.
-
Fair enough, but do you think it's good to pay 35 more for dlcs that basically finish the game?
-
Do you think it's fair to pay $40 and expect a game that's bigger, better, more expensive to make, give you more to do, and gets far more post-release support than what you paid $60 for 20 year ago? Because when you adjust for inflation that's basically what those who are opposed to planned DLC are calling for.
-
I think it's a fair price. The DLC is probably a bit of a bogus deal. But then I though that with D1 and didn't buy into it. I wish I did though.. you really don't know what D2 may end up being after all
-
That's what I was my point really.. the dlc.. 35 bucks more for the rest of the game..
-
I'm enjoying it, so yes.
-
Yes, absolutely. I would pay more.
