This toxic cesspool of a community demands that Bungie communicates more. Bungie communicates with the community by addressing some concerns and giving an indication of what's to come. Same community who demanded this communication gets mad at Bungie for doing the exact thing that they asked for and still can't be thankful for anything.
I get that Bungie has been making some poor decisions lately, but I'm really starting to wonder if they are truly the real problem for Destiny. Either you people are just outright spoiled brats, or you just want to be angry for the sake of being angry.

1 RespuestaEditado por Stuka Ju87D: 12/2/2017 1:42:53 AMThey have always talked about what's to come. But in terms of other communications, they have pretty much cherry picked what they wanted to respond to and they were usually underhand pitches so to speak. This time is different because they painted themselves into a corner along with getting caught doing something quite unacceptable and now have to face the music. Are some folks a little toxic around here? Yes. Is the community backlash undeserved? No. Basic rule, the customer always comes first. That rule is getting stomped on as of late. At least they are acknowledging they now have a problem. As for your last paragraph, I should think there are considerably more options at play here than the 2 you have listed.

1 RespuestaBy communicate you must mean lie. They were caught red handed lying about xp gains that came with Pop tarts that didn't work because of their hidden xp nerf. They have admitted it and removed the nerf which they announced publicly. Then they got caught again doubling the amount of xp required to lvl. Seems like most of their communication is "buy our dlc" and "yea you cought us ripping you off but we fixed it" "woops you cought us again we didn't really fix it."
-
You're a total pole dancing chimp. It's the fact that they have taken so long to communicate that people are annoyed about. It's the same old bungo story since day one destiny. Yeah they are trying to fix it which is great . But why take so long to address the community why all the cloak and dagger shit keeping everything a secret. I think it's to little to late for most. Nobody on my friends list plays any more and the only people going to play the expansion are the people with the collectors edition .

Editado por CookieNiki: 11/30/2017 10:22:55 PMWow! Way to distort what is really happening. You missed the point in an EPIC way! Almost everybody welcomed the communication. However, as other things in life, after something being announced people have opinions about it and in this case they are right in feeling somehow let down by Bungie. Bungie didn't address many of the core complains that the community expressed over all this months. They just announced some disputable changes and voiced many promises that, imo, may or may not become reality. And listening to the podcast made me feel that the ones that run that studio are completely disconnected with what their community is asking. That's what is really happening, not what you are trying to pass as reality.

Bungie is a triple A studio. And the list of things to fix on the game that literally came out less than 90 days is huge. They just had to make a blog post vaguely explaining all their plans for a game that just launched. Their list is by no means complete, and the community is mad about it. Billion dollar triple A studios that put out incomplete and broken games should EXPECT fallout like this for putting out a shit product.

I am very glad they finally approached an update with communication. I'm thankful for this and it's a great step in the right direction... HOWEVER, they did this because they were backed into a corner with no escape. It's like an abusive relationship. The abuser will appologize and temporarily change untill the significant other comes back. Then the abuser will go right back to what they were doing. One communicated update won't be enough to extinguish the fires they created. They need to prove that they want this as much as the community does.

Editado por leukoplast: 12/2/2017 2:57:43 AMPretty much. Community: We demand more communication about the future of destiny! Bungie: Communicates about future of Destiny. Community: WTF, I hate communication now!!

The last sentence of your post tells me you’ve lost all perspective. Really? Those are the only to options for the masses of us who are rightfully disgusted with this company? Please.

6 RespuestasEditado por About 96 Ninjas: 12/1/2017 10:58:07 AMJust shut up. All of this could of been avoided if D2 wasn't 9000 steps backwards #casual. Bungie even admitted that's where they -blam!-ed up. You can't be mad at people for being pissed at Bungie for gutting and super casualizing (is that even a word lol) everything. Either bitch and complain like the rest or just shut up. No one likes a bitch and complain about bitching and complaining.

Completely agree with you Some "community" members need a few days away from a keyboard and in some fresh air.... remember it's a game, and not a terrible one either

6 RespuestasEditado por Quaddity: 11/30/2017 8:18:01 PMThese forums are filled with trolls like any other. Mute them and the forum is a lot better. The same trolls and children that are screaming for Destiny 1 things in D2 hated Destiny 1 and posted the same trolling rants as they do now about D2. 814 people muted and increasing daily.

They do twab every week. They didn't communicate anymore than usual. They just pointed out a lot of what has been pointed out here the last 3 months. Oh and gave us back stuff we had in Destiny and we are supposed to be thankful for that. It's not like they are trying to get you to buy something is it oh wait they are.
-
Some ppl want them to communicate more, but until something happens, it's just words. Most ppl want them to improve the game.
-
2 RespuestasYou realize the forums are optional to look at right?

3 RespuestasBeyond all the spin there is still a lack of an adequate explanation as to why they made all the changes to the mechanics of D2 in the first place. Merely acknowledging they messed up isn’t good enough.

4 RespuestasWelcome to Hateville, the place where hate is the only welcome opinion. All others are considered BDF, Fanboi, Suck Ups, if you have a valid opinion or constructive viewpoint, you will be promptly trampled to death. This place sucks, but it's fun to hang out and poke people with sticks.

1 RespuestaWell, entitlement and exaggeration has hit an all time high. And it's not limited to just this game and forum. Hell, just take a look at the current leader of the free world. Dude doesn't even know how to speak the truth at all anymore, if he ever had. Unfortunately, it's the new norm. My assumption is that we all are gonna burn in Hell real soon anyways.
