That's enough for me. Will never throw money at the screen again.
Not enough and took way too long.
Sure, we've got some decent QoL changes here. Okay.
But do they make this game a true progression from D1? No. Not even close. Quickplay is still a thing. Nightfalls are untouched with their lazy timer modifiers and lack of fun ones... hell they're all the same set for the strike, there's no diversity. -blam!- it.
And I'm sick of waiting. Sick of compromising. It's the same old shit from D1. You shit the bed, you make some token changes to appease the masses that don't really get to the root of why your game is a disappointment when considering it's potential. Not to mention the hollow promises of items "to be done later" and "we'll communicate better from here on.. we promise!"
Yeah right. I'm done. You've lost me. I'm off this endless merry go round.
I've bought the Y1 Pass. I've made friends on this game I like to hang with and I think they will keep on playing regularly. I've paid it, and I'm not going to beg for a refund. I will play play out the DLC content and then plan sparingly with my friends a couple of times a week at most.
But, you're not getting another dime from me. No Pre Orders. No Expansion. No Eververse. No more DLCs. Nothing.
PS: MAN! Thank GOD we finally get a weapon-kill-count weapon Mod!!! I been wanting one of those since...... NEVER!

23 RespuestasHave you listened to the Bungie Podcast that went out yesterday. It does explain a little of why and when they do or do not say anything, why something get fixed quickly and others slower, etc. It is more informative about behind the scenes stuff, but it is nice to know about such things when it comes to talking about stuff such as communication and when they talk about stuff they are working on.

There is no power fantasy anymore, in pve or pvp - example being Hunters who after being shot have to hide in a corner for half an hour to get their health back. That's not powerful, thats like being bullied. Everything's been nerfed into the ground for the sake of pvp balance, and Bungie has an enormous hard on to get into the E-sports scene for some reason, when the game is supposed to be about being a warrior who has super-powers and fights evil wherever it is. They've lost sight of it all. The game has rubbish mechanics. Fix those, not promise things that were already in the bloody works, and you've just sped them up to pacify the playerbase. Its obvious they're doing the bare minimum, as usual. Minimal Viable Product - a development technique in which a new product or website is developed with sufficient features to satisfy early adopters. The final, complete set of features is only designed and developed after considering feedback from the product's initial users. Bungie has this nailed, but it doesnt have to be.

10 RespuestasTex, you actually got me to post. I have moved on the Greener Pastures (Warframe) & have been playing other games having passed up on D2. (For those who remember me I said I wasn't getting D2 & once I had my fill of D1 I left B-Net.) Even in Warframe, Elder Scrolls Online, FF14, & more, folks bring up the state of Destiny & I find myself once a week checking these forums to see what the hell happened/is happening. Even the Reddit has been bad. To hear rumors is one thing, to see they are real is another. I've spent most of downtime at work looking at these forums & Reddit and... Bungie missed more marks than they hit with that: "State of Destiny 2" post. That said, I wanted to throw you my support Tex & offer you some advice. You're where I was after the D2 Beta. I posted my feedback, I let Bungie know my take on things then I said "adios". Anyways, you stated in one of your comments that you don't want to risk/compromise your friendship by not playing what you payed for to just "take a stand". Well, thanks to Parties/Chat/Discord/Vent/etc you can still interact & not force yourself to play a game you do not enjoy. Everyday I log on Warframe I make a Public chat room normally named after a Warframe meme. And both my Warframe & Destiny friends join up & we talk, joke, & have a good time. We share our opinions on games (more often it's me playing therapist to their broken hearts over D2), they share their D2 adventures with me, I share my Warframe adventures with them, either way we have remained strong friends. So it is possible. As of Thanksgiving, all my friends who still played Destiny have all moved over to Warframe. Now I'm teaching them the game. But some of em check Reddit & these forums hoping (I daresay praying) for some good news. The dev blog really excited all of them. Hell even "I" came to see what the noise was about. It breaks my heart to honestly see this IP in shambles. I knew D2 was NOT for "ME" but... I digress... I'm sorry to see you & others post like this. The disconnect is real with this IP/Developer. But there are other games, & you can still hang with your buddies without begrudgingly supporting Bungie. If you are on PSN I'll gladly teach you how to be a Space Ninja if you should ever decide to try out Warframe. =] I recommend you give it a shot, it's like a good mix of Destiny, Diablo, Assassin's Creed, Star Wars, & a flight sim. I saw you mention down below you were looking for another game so... Well I wish you luck man! I'm in Texas too, so maybe we can game one day.

The best changes always come tomorrow. I’m with you here. All my friends quit already. I played about 1 month longer than them, but I’m out for a few months. Sadly I got the expansion when I preordered. Learned a big lesson here.
