A number of my friends and trials sherpas have been banned unjustly. We were all waiting for the TWAB thinking you'd lump it under security and give some sort of idea as to what was going on, reason for the bans, length of time, etc; but there was nothing. These aren't people who DdoS or use cheating tools, these are people who sherpa people to the spire every weekend, dedicate insane hours of their lives to the game and the community that you have now alienated by these bans.
Trials is a very competitive and sometimes petty game mode. Lesser players report these people all the time or leave the game on their own when they feel they can't beat the other team. That doesn't mean they were ddos'd or manipulated anyone's connection. You're punishing the people who are good at the game and are using that skill to help the community.
When will this be addressed? When will someone tell us what is going on?
**EDIT**
I'm aware that they addressed bans, but those bans were strictly for PC. This happened out of the blue on Monday, on xbox and nothing has been said about it.

34 RespuestasBungie doesn't disclose specific information about game bans and/or restrictions. I would suggest taking at their policy if you'd like more specifics. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929

DDOS is a crock and if your friends got banned there's a good reason for it. If you guys can't play Trials anymore and that's the end of the world you guys should reconsider your life priorities. Maybe it'll be good for the people that play trials for 72 hours a week. & they told you what's going on. Some body cheated or was a scumbag and broke ToS. Simple as that. It's not hard to not get banned.
-
They already did by banning the cheats
-
Nobody -blam!-ing cares.

1 RespuestaEditado por PapaSubpar: 11/10/2017 4:49:00 PMThey did address the issue by banning them.
-
They have already addressed it. They don't discuss bans. Period. Go buy a new copy and don't cheat.
-
Cheater
-
If your friends are banned, why aren’t they the ones defending themselves?
-
You can't honestly sit there and think they've been banned for no reason at all. They've done something, whether you want to believe it or not - they have.
-
1 RespuestaTrials needed to be swept free of paid carriers with AA cranked to 11. No sympathy.

Editado por Art of War: 11/10/2017 11:02:17 PMI'm sure Bungie can tell the difference between players that voluntarily leave the game to go back into orbit and those players that get kicked by a bad (manipulated) connection. Cheaters that come on this forum proclaiming their innocence must think the rest of the world is a bunch of morons. Sure it must just be a coincidence that most of the banned players have a high KDR with a large number of opponent DNFs.

1 RespuestaThey did something to deserve the ban, saying watch the stream doesn't cut it. I have played laggers who swear they are not lagging, while warping all over on my screen. If people are doing paid carries then they have a bigger incentive to manipulate connections, they got caught. Hell, I might even comw back for trials if they are weeding the bs out.

Soon as they quit using exploits, it will be addressed

Editado por Eqitx: 11/10/2017 11:16:38 PMWell deserved, we need more bans
-
Unjustly. Lol.
-
Your friends should stop cheating
-
Probably Sherpas who charge kids for flawless. Good riddance.
-
8 RespuestasCharging people for carries and recoveries IS NOT helping the community. Using Chronusmax IS NOT helping the community. DoS attacks DO NOT help the community. Cheating/glitching/cheesing DOES NOT help the community. Bungie reviewed the data and found something ban worthy - "sherpa" or not.
-
11 RespuestasNoone is banned just for being reported (dumbest excuse there is) & noone is banned because opponents leave (contrary to popular belief they CAN tell the difference). If they did or do reviews of bans you're going to have to come up with something better.

2 RespuestasGood Riddance... Go cheat elsewhere and earn money by actually getting a real job.. Bye Felicia
-
Funny how ur friends got banned but it’s u on the forum complaining about it...where are these friends??......
-
12 RespuestasNo such thing as "trials sherpa's",it's called "cheater". You cheated and got caught, finally. The game is better off without you and once they ban all of you trials maybe actually playable..
-
If you get banned from Destiny 2, just wait till Destiny 3. You'll be on a high risk list, but you can still play Destiny 3. See you then!

5 RespuestasIve been reported multiple times for nothing, just because i did better than them.... Not once have i been banned, in the past 6 months, apprantly ive been reported 20+ times for cheating... Still no ban......your friends cheated. Simple 😀

7 RespuestasI looked at a few people that made the same claims. Didn't look like they were dosing BUT you could tell they had booty internet seeing how every couple of matches someone on the enemy team got the boot. Booty internet will get you a temp ban and I'm happy about that.
