Why Advanced Warfare is My Most Favorite CoD, ;-;
cod ww2 is coming soon and I feel like talking about cod, no I'm not a cod fanboy I simply enjoy a fun, casual game to play when I get bored of playing. With that being said let's begin.
So everytime I get into a conversation about which cod is the best or which one is someone's favorite I always say advanced warfare and no one takes me seriously; "Are you joking?" "You can't be serious", "AW is the Worst CoD made". And much more, so I'd like to say here, why I loved advanced warfare and why it became my most played CoD to date. A Breath of Fresh Air Advanced warfare was the breath of fresh air the Call of Duty franchise needed, a whole new universe, an 'original' movement system, completely new game modes, almost completely customizable soldiers and some really unique weapon designs (albeit some were just redesigns of guns such as the ARX and ak, etc.). This was a nice change of pace from the same old same old, war settings in cod , Vietnam, ww2 modern, running around doing the same thing with as much improvement every year as an annual sports game (in other words, not much improvement was to be had.) The campaign offered some interesting ideas And had some crazy set pieces, but like every campaign it has its faults and is very short and has very boring missions. Supply Drops were Done Well Now I know what you're (probably) thinking, 'aRE yoU ReaLlY PrAISinG the fAcT THat tHeY HaD/inTroduCed SuPply droPs? No, I'm giving them props where it's due, although yes they did introduce the infamous supply drop system it was a completely inevitable part of the call of duty franchise and with the way that they actually did it, it (like I said) deserves some praise, every 10 levels starting from level 20 you get one free elite supply drop and you'd always randomly get free supply drops almost all of the time, so no, there was no grinding for currency like the atrocity black ops 3 had tried. It was straight forward, play and you'll be rewarded easy, no grinding for hours. it had a huge amount of dev support even after the games life cycle ended. Nuff' said. The One Bad Thing I can really criticize advanced warfare on was the zombies, it was very obviously tacked on just to milk the zombies community, but in the end it was still a very very fun mode to play. Welp, that's it. Thoughts?
