You screwed up the vision and the heart and soul of this game. Joseph Staten and Marty were the heart and soul of Bungie and YOU NEED THEM BACK! Pay them and the previous team you cut completely out WHATEVER THE -blam!- THEY WANT because you’re about to lose BIG!
People really Dislike Destiny2 (including myself)
a lot. It’s not even close to good anymore and a lot of players don’t realize how pivotal of a person the two people I just named were to Bungie!
Everything you experienced in D1 one was due to the structure that Joseph Staten left. They reworked EVERYTHING this man did and we still believed. WRONG DECISION.
Let me explain what Bungie doesn’t have time to...
Writers/Directors are extremely important to a game. It’s not all about the shooting mechanics and awesome space magic. These people work passionately to breath life into the things that you do and when you cut that out, you cut the heart of the game out,
STATEN WAS BUNGIE’S HIDEO KOJIMA: Never mind Recore. He didn’t work years and put his soul into that. Destiny was his greatest work and we may never get to see it i(n full) because of corporate under workings that I am not going to pretend to know about. All I know is that JOE AND MARTY NEEDS TO COME BACK AND GIVE THE FANS WHAT THEY DESERVE. Joseph and Marty really cared about the fans and their feedback. What you have at Bungie now is NOT what we knew Bungie to be.
President Pete Parsons: PLEASE. Bring them back. You know it’s the right thing to do and the first step to righting the many things that went wrong with Destiny, from Vanilla to 2.
This isn’t cool and majority of us guardians know that this is what needs to happen.
Thank you for taking the time out to read.

Joe Staten's original story was scrapped for being too difficult to follow. I would have rather had that than what we got.

1 Respuesta
Halo Reach has more content and replay value than this lackluster. Action Sack Big Team Battle Co-op Campaign Double Team Doubles Arena Firefight Firefight Arcade Firefight Doubles Firefight Limited Grifball Halo: Reach Title Updates Invasion Living Dead MLG Multi-Team Premium Battle Premium Slayer Rumble Pit Score Attack Squad Slayer Team Arena Team Classic Team Objective Team Slayer Team Snipers Team SWAT Bungie needs to fix this shît or refund everyone of us, we will not pay for an D1 expansion with less content than ever before. D2 has so little replay value that there's no lore let alone big team battles. Listen to the community, stop hiding around in the bush expecting everything to be fine. Bungie has to be one of the worst devolpers by now with their greed. This staff is ruining the name that the creators of Halo was created under. The March will happen on the fist of the new year, fix your mistakes by then. 550 106th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004
6 RespuestasOnce Plains of Eidolon releases for Warframe I'll be gone completely from D2 until they buck their ideas up. Not that Warframe isn't already a thousand times better than D2 but it's finally getting open world exploration that will be so much better than anything D2 can currently offer. If you haven't already tried Warframe I highly recommend you do and you'll see and experience everything you wanted Destiny to be and much more.

12 RespuestasD1 was not that good. There may have been a few fun items. These forums are not a representation of the community as a whole. If Bungie wanted true feed back, they would send out a survey to all the players. This and only this would give them proper feedback. For these forums are not all the players.

4 RespuestasEditado por kris_tunetso: 10/9/2017 5:19:44 PMUp front, I've not played Destiny 2 yet as I am a PC player and it's not available. So I don't know first-hand how good (or bad) the story is. The higher-ups, including Jason Jones, rejected Joe Staten's vision for the story, butchered it, and stitched some of the pieces back together to make D1. From various reports and articles written over the years, I get the impression that Staten has no interest in coming back to Bungie or even being associated with the project. And really, would you if you were in his place? If someone rejected what you thought was a great idea, something you put a lot of work into (the initial storyboard presentation was 2 hours long) but then tore it apart and used parts of it anyway, would you want to come back and be associated with such mockery? A quick check shows he's over at Microsoft (not 343i), wrote a new Halo book, and is currently working on the story for another of their games (Crackdown 3). He probably wont be available for a while. And while I have faith Staten could make Destiny's plot something great and coherent, it would never be "his" story. I doubt he'd have any interest in coming back. Marty O'Donnell had a long sit-down interview with someone a while back (IGN, I think) and while it was certainly cordial and polite, you get the impression he's still bothered by what happened. He was fired without warning. He had to sue Bungie afterwards to get what he was owed. I very much doubt anyone would want to go back to work for a company that fired them, and whom they sued and won against. So while it'd be nice to have those two involved with the Destiny franchise again, it's very, very, very unlikely to happen.

Pete Parson is too busy hanging out with the Big Show

I like the music. Too bad it takes a back seat to the world audio. “Stay back you dirty piece of work!”

sounds like more reskins.

Editado por Genghis Johnson: 10/9/2017 10:45:00 PMNeither of those folks wants anything to do with Bungle anymore. Staten bailed years ago when Bungle management shit all over his vision. O'Donnell actually got fired, then proceeded to butcher Bungle like a hog during arbitration of his wrongful termination claim.

Staten's idea that The Traveler actually was the villain was really cool. It plays into our fear of higher powers, because of the mystery that we face living with such a limited view point. There was an actual twist to The Traveler and the story worked with the least in a general way. I don't know the specifics. But in Destiny one you could tell the traveler was just a ? The entire time. I could tell you stories of great old tales, how weak. Bungie does not know how to tell a story and is too arrogant to let a writer be in charge of the story. It just feels like a world created by art directors. I've worked with art directors and designers. They're geniuses at visual ideas but they don't know story at all.

100% behind you man! Bring back Joe, 4 years worth of writing thrown out by corporate money grabbers no doubt! I believe it had to be something special with the true concept for destiny at it's core, but we have ended up with a huge rehashed mess that is going down the P2P/PVP route where money is the be all, end all!

15 RespuestasEditado por Darth Lunchbox: 10/9/2017 8:12:04 PMDon't know who those guys are, but if they are the ones responsible for D1s story, then hell no. D2s story is leaps and bounds above D1. Edit: Now that I know who they are, Marty I don't think is needed. Joseph couldn't hurt. Although I disagree about people not liking D2, there are a lot that like D2.

14 RespuestasWhat? You people do not like Luke Smith's "vision" of gaming with D2? Me neither.

14 RespuestasYes, the people on the forums are complaining, but those are the people that play the game a ton. The vast majority are having a great time.
