It's destiny 2 vanilla. It's the same complaints from destiny 1 vanilla and for PvP there are 2 major differences from destiny with endgame content.
1. 4v4 takes skill where 6v6 let's you clean up players who simply aren't paying attention to you. Now you have to fight back and get into 2v1 moments with the odds not in your favor and you can't hang. Sucks for you. Get better.
2. With destiny 1 the end game content made your abilities and supers regenerate super fast. Until we get to destiny 2 end game content every idiot saying how the recharge on everything makes the game slow is just barking in the dark.

I hear u. Crazy how upset these people can get over a game. I'm pretty excited to see what new things will be added in the future. It has kept me interested for years and I continue to play it will playing other games. So immersive and satisfying to play.

Pvp takes absolutely NO SKILLS. Look at how many people have already went flawless. They made the entire game easy so that almost anyone who plays can beat the raid and go flawless. Taking away different perks on guns and armor have killed the replay of this game. There is no need to grind what so ever.... pvp is strictly connection based and no power level which makes it a joke. Iron banner will be no exception either. Bungie has made a once good game completely bland. Until they either bring back different roles on stuff and add back power levels and some other things this game will continue to die out. So many people are just waiting for new games to come out next month and next year and then it will be hard to find people to do the raids and trials with. Destiny is just about dead thanks to bungie

Stopped reading at the "look how many people have gone flawless" remark. Winning 7 matches in a row against pubs is child's play. You take 3 of your buddies with good headsets and have good gear and you'll make 7 in a row eventually.

Absolute lies and falsehoods in just your opening statement. The only thing lacking in vanilla Destiny was story. Content and leveling was not the issue as it is now. Reaction videos made vanilla destiny and lessened with every following patch.content only lessened as the community demanded nerfs. People had the forums littered with "forever 28" posts cause getting any higher was almost impossible without having three of the same subclasses run the raid every week just to get a full set of raid armor and and weapons to reach 31. And since then the grind has gotten easier and easier and the forums have gotten saltier and saltier. Destiny was once hyped by its loot not the endgame content is friendship..... Come on!

I hope this game gets better cause it's pretty stale for a month old game. Can't believe I'm writing this but it's true. I still play but it's kind of dare I say, boring?

So much this!! Everybody defending this game keeps saying D2 vanilla is better than D1 vanilla... give it time. I agree with you. Screw that. It should be better than year 3 D1! Not more content. I understand that's not possible. But everything else should be a more fun game.

Haven't really found a set of weapons I like, mostly just been enjoying myself playing with a few people here and there but 99% of the time I've just been playing before bed.

It's a brand new game that had 3 plus years to make. There is no reason for a shell of a game that we paid at least 70 bucks for.

The difference is that the armor in this game is all the same with the cosmetics being the only difference. And Even with full paragon modded armor for one element you can’t get more than 1 super in a game without getting extremely lucky with your teammates supers creating orbs which was not the case in D1. This game is different from other shooters because of abilities and the current PVP state barely allows you to use them. It’s generic. Honestly I hope it changes because I love the idea of this game but bungie/activision have proven themselves great at taking way too long to fix the problems 90% of the community has with the game.

Pretty sure paragon mod says class abilities which is The hunter dodge, Titan wall and warlock rift. Not supers bud.

We have the endgame content. Unless the hardmode raid armor decreases ability cooldowns by 50% it can't save ability combat.

It's not meant to, that's the 3rd DLC gear that comes out in about a year and a half.

and thus, the game is boring. We already gave them 4 years to figure out how to make powerful, rewarding, AND balanced endgame gear. They are not showcasing any of that.

Love fanboys like you who keep making excuses for Bungie. Fortunately we're seeing fewer and fewer of you around. I'm sorry, but Bungie had three years of what amounts to paid Beta testing to get this right, there are no suitable excuses at this point in time.

It’s interesting that when someone has an opposing view they’re instantly called a name. It’s all opinions, and just because you don’t like it, doesn’t make the people who do “fanboys.” I enjoy this game so far, but I also understand why some people don’t. At the end of the day that should be ok.

Interesting how you see "fanboy" to be a negative term at all when I love people who share my fandom I have zero shame. It's fine to be a fanboy of destiny but I'm 29, played enough halo 3 to play with pros. Destiny was a 10 year project. Destiny 1 is garbage. Destiny 2 is also basically garbage. All my comparisons are destiny 1 vs destiny 2. Destiny 2 vs a potato, I give it to the potato.

The importance here is context. The intent from the poster was for fanboy to be negative therefor it was addressed as such. It was placed in quotes because I actually do enjoy this game and am not ashamed of it. It’s my opinion and that’s how opinions work. I enjoy it and you feel it’s garbage, and that’s ok. I won’t start calling people names over the issue though. As for potatoes. I too enjoy potatoes, but for me a potato is a different kind of enjoyment. I find them delicious in many different forms, but I won’t look to it for entertainment. That’s not to say there’s nothing to find entertaining about a potato. It’s just now how I enjoy them.

I stand by my comment. We had three years of fanboys making excuse after excuse and now we are seeing more of the same. This game doesn't justify the $60 price tag, as it is nothing more than a glorified DLC.
