I'm only going to say this once. Anyone that is complaining about destiny 2 is complaining about nothing. Yes they're problems in the game but it hasn't even been out for a month. So how can you possibly complain about a new game with new problems. Every new game will have its problems. Every new game that continues in a franchise will change things up to make it more interesting. Ya you don't get your supers or your abilities as much in D2 than D1. But this change makes you have to think about when you want to use them instead of relying on them. I personally see a lot of potential for the game from where it is at right now.

"There's a lot of potential for this SEQUEL that is CURRENTLY OUT."
Potential is for upcoming games.
-
You clowns are really harping on that "potential" still?
-
I'm just glad you're only going to say it once. I'd hate to have to hear that again. D2 is a huge let down coming from D1 (at any time).
-
Destiny is unbelievable bad...I have only taken my Titan to 292...and to be honest i dont think i will play this game with my Hunter or Warlock...How a bunch of people can destroy a game like this with Desyiny 2 ia amazing..they should be sacked all of them...
-
Change things up to make it more interesting...are you joking
-
Because this is year 4 for destiny. These problems should not even be problems..
-
D2 is a turd. Fact, not opinion.
-
In fact it is your opinion, that's all this forum is about opinions. Hence it's a forum not a news paper or news network. It's an opinion page if you will. Game critics and mags have given D2 great praise, just some, very few gamers are critical and negative when reality is D2 is still successful and will continue to be. Same happened in D1 .Anyway good luck and do what you have to do. Cheers.
-
Ahum. Independent game critics all derided Destiny 2 as a mediocre hollow shell of a game that offers nothing new or innovative.

I bought a new car once. It started running like shit and needed the engine replaced after a month due to burned out pistons from piss poor OEM ECM programming. Did I complain? You're dammed right I did. Did I have the right to? Yup. Was the car company -blam!-ed up for putting this car on the market with an ECM programmed to basically kill the engine in the first few thousand miles? Yup. Should they get a pass because "it was the first month"?
hell no they shouldn't
Video games and every other consumer product on the market works the same way. Manufacturers and producers don't get a pass just because their product is new. Consumer feedback is what drives improvement (in quality companies.) Bungie should have named this game Destiny Redux, because that's what it is. At it's core it is Destiny, but all the bells and whistles that made the original so great are just.... gone.
The car was a 2016 Chevy Malibu. I highly recommend car buyers steer clear of this car (and brand.)
Good luck, bud, good analogy tends to fly like a lead balloon around here.

Already been said, but one is real life and big money, the other is a disposable virtual game, you buy it,don't like it ,don't Fuken play it,$60 or whatever you paid for the game ain't going to break the bank, : )
-
Lol. That is a stupid argument. $60 is $60. I am surprised you didn't say "dood just have your mom and dad buy you a different game".
-
Never thought of that,I'll try it next time, : )
-
Sorry to hear that but this is a game not a car. Fantasy not real life. Just saying. How did you pay for the car compared to the game.

He or she is making a point about the quality of a product and meeting the expectations of customers. It doesn't matter if a company makes video games or automobiles, if they don't satisfy their customers they are going to hear about it. I think everyone expected Bungie to build on the things that made Destiny 1 great. All of those lessons Bungie learned the hard way in D1 should already be included, but they aren't. To argue they should get the same learning curve on D2 is asinine.

Agree totally. D1 was the final product, that's it, nothing more. D2 is a totally different game, far more potential and smoother. Just players are nostalgic or they were probably the same lot complaining about D1 all the time. Now that D2 is out they have something else to complain about. This game is still new. Far better than what Vanilla D1 was, in terms of potential and game play. For me PVP is far better, still needs work, PVE a step up. Love the fact that you can't rely on heavies and special weapons as much anymore. As well with supers and grenades. Some and I mean very few gamers are just don't like putting effort into a game. Most games have a primary ,secondary and limited heavy or special. Fact is there are few that are just trolls or gamers who have never played the game that make comments here. Very few gamers here to rushed the game to get to the top power level, to be the first. ,now they are bored. Who's fault is that?. Lol. I am enjoying D2 more than D1 now. PVP more balanced and fair, no more OP shotguns and snipers or OP melees, shoulder charges and sticky grenades. More interesting now that you have to put an effort in PVP to win. Pve is great, have not done the raid but from most of the forums it's great too, limited but it is a new game and bungie just getting players used to the new play style and feeling the old and new players out . Expansions will be way better like they did with TTK. Cheers.

Is that the reason why they lost 700,000 players last week on Destiny tracker reset day.3.3 million to 2.6 million
-
Here we go again, another number chucker, jeez you muppets need to take a step back, you really do, : )
