PLANETARY Loot Chest Cooldowns need to be removed
It's a yes/no poll. But I want chest cooldowns to be removed so the below is from that pov.
We get Ghosts and a map ( we have to buy with glimmer) and their only purpose is to show loot chests. Why would anyone buy a loot chest finding map or equip a loot chest finding Ghost and not go looking for them!! Or why even have them if there is a cooldown? That last question is rhetorical as we know why..
This is completly ridiculous that there is a loot chest cooldown..I am shocked Bungie is so blatantly doing this crap!!

It's material collecting too. It's just insane how they put chests and materials in the game world but we are only allowed to have so much of it. I love farming/collecting and they have completely ruined it. It's absolutely been put there to slow us down but to be honest it's just another activity in thier game they have made pointless.

3 RespuestasIn normal patrol play I hit the cooldown very, very quickly, especially on Io (where loot tends to cluster). I'm not speed farming, just playing as normal. When rep resource nodes are on the same cooldown as event chests, regular chests, etc it's maddeningly easy to lock yourself out. Patently absurd.

I'll say it again, if you're only going for chests, you get 1 engram an hour, which is a bit ridiculous, considering the amount of duplicates you get. The math, if you think about it before calling me stupid like those in my original post, is just 1 or 2 items from 1 engram each hour. Add in time finding chests, and all the duplicate items, and you get a frustrating loot run. It seems like this loot lockout is done to make the armor feel rare or prestigious, but boils down to how many chests you find.

2 RespuestasLogged into Destiny 2. Made it to the tower after the almost obligatory 5 x error codes and booted from game. Buy 5 x Cayde chest loot locations. Fly into EDZ. Do not collect any materials or open any chests. Open 1st Cayde chest for the week. Receive Nil, Zip, Zero, Nothing. No glimmer, no weapon, no armor. Really Bungie??????? Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.

This was just a dumb overall addition. We have items in game that are for quick looting(ghosts/scouting reports) but then make them not work because people are using them for quick looting. Honestly weird decision overall to add this. Understand why but just a very dumb decision overall. And frustrating because yet again even though I tried to pace myself but also don’t have forever to go and get chest I received another empty cayde chest this week. Last one every time is empty for me.
