The grind is nonexistent in D2. It sucks.
Not true at all.

 • Once you hit 305 there is no grind. I basically have every armor piece and weapon in the game. The ones worth having at least. With static rolls on gear there is no more end game hunt for loot. I've completed the raid a couple of times and the prestige nightfall. What else is there to do?

You can't complain about a game you haven't stopped playing. I've put in a lot of time and still don't have every gun or armor set. You just want an awful grinding experience for no reason, the GOOD grind is what we have now. The grind for the loot itself.

 • Agree to disagree. Every big youtuber and hardcore player is on my side. They dumbed the game down for casual players so they can feel like they have completed something while making the game worse for hardcore players. There is no exclusivity in this game anymore. Nothing that makes good players standout from the normal people. This is smart from a business standpoint but it sucks for the hardcore audience

 • Yes, everybody that does nothing but play Destiny all day is on your side. That's exactly why it's wrong. A videogame should not be a job, and obviously Bungie felt the same way. Luckily, the developers are on my side.

 • Why shouldn't it be a job? People make way more money playing video games than you do doing whatever you do unless you're a high paid professional athlete which I doubt. I think you just have a very selfish narrow minded view of the game. There should be content there for the hardcore and the casual. What is there right now is great for casual players. There just needs to be a step passed it for the true end game. Maybe add a new section of the game with weapons and armor that don't have static rolls so the hardcore people can be pleased. But that will never happen because then the casuals such as yourself will complain about not having all the same stuff as someone that puts quadruple the amount of time into the game. The philosophy you're taking is basically "only this group should have fun screw the other group" while the philosophy I'm taking is why can't everybody have fun. It is possible to cater to casuals and let them have their fun and also have another area of the game at the end game for hardcore people. I don't see why you would ever be so avid that a certain group aren't allowed to have fun. Extremely selfish on your part. And before you try to argue against that, you said luckily the devs are on your side and you said games shouldn't be made for people that play a lot. You can believe what you want but you're in the wrong here. The game should have elements that can make both audiences happy. One shouldn't ruin the experience for the other as you obviously think it should.

Looks like you are fishing for any fired up discussion you can, I'm not going to fuel you just for the sake of it, this obviously isn't going to be a healthy discussion. Good luck on your future channel.
