If you control woman's pregnancy ,you are holding them back once more,it's just religious bulshit that should have no bearing on the matter .All you pro lifers still believe killing a fetus is equivalent to killing a human being.The problem with this debate is you want to push your religious morals whereas we want to support the individual involved in what ever decisions they take.

1 RespuestaI'm not allowed to have a voice in this topic due to past personal experiences. I got a girl pregnant at an early age, we where both under 18, her parents made her get an abortion. While I can never fathom how a women would feel emotionally after such an event, I can say for a fact that 26 years later it still haunts me. I've had a Google reminder for the would be birthdate for the child for years and at least for the past 15 it's been a calendar event on my phone. I for one don't agree with abortion 100% of the time, but there are some instances where it can be justified. Those few instances though are not for me to define. To each his/her own.

Because it's a choice? You don't have to agree with it but that fact that the option is there for someone. A rapę victim, for example is an often brought up example for situations like this. Do I agree that the child should be terminated? No. But I agree that said person should at least have a choice. This isn't about "hey, I feel like taking a coat hanger to a couple poon-tangs!" This is just about offering the person a choice.

I'm with you, unless you told the child they were a product of -blam!-, or constant molestation that turned into -blam!-, they could have a great life, be a great person, make a great family. But if you were dumb enough to tell them what they were a product of, they'd become depressed.

[i]You[/i] don't ever have to get an abortion, ever in your life. That's your choice. You also have the right to own a gun, doesn't mean you have to buy one. So when a woman gets rąped she has the right to choose to abort. If contraception fails, she has the right to choose to abort or not.
