The nightfall is painstaking. The thought of a timed event to the degree it is has been a headache trying to fight through. I love the direction bungie has been taking this is that instead of more health and more damage, like destiny 1, at least we have some sort of don't stand in the fire mechanic by doing prism and the rings in the pit but the overall limit in time is just far too short. All the hardcore 1%'s are saying everyone is already at 300 and ready to raid and the nightfall is easy but really, they made a guide for a reason, you DO NOT represent the majority. In some way neither do I my clan did fair at raiding in the first game. We had a flawless raider run or two we did all of our raid strays through self discovery without videos guides because it made the game fun and interesting. We weren't the best we died a lot but we aren't succeeding anywhere. We aren't prepared, and the game in that fashion hasn't gotten any easier. I wpuld even argue it further separates the voices who frequent forums from the people who just play to play and never visit this website. There will be a handful of players who will follow up with "i beat the nightfall with my friends and we were all 240 get better" etc etc. My clan is attempting to take an initiative to help community players that fly solo to enjoy the heights most never experience. It would be nice to have a place they can do that. Cosmetics and the eververse are a great separation for the hardcore. Give them a challenge make it timed give them something to make them stand out, but let the rest of us enjoy what you have created. Don't push the majority player base away.

A lot of the replies seem to be aimed at me and our my clan. Again trying to guide games and the mentality of the whole was my concern. A great number of 2 clan and 1 pub guided events have not been great due to skill or raw difficulty and we are segregating that player base, yet again.

I HATE the timer. It just makes things artificially difficult for no reason. I'd rather have to restart if the fireteam wipes.

3 RespuestasManaged to do this NF with 5seconds on the clock my butthole has never been so tight. My fireteam all left with loot big swinging knobs and a massive sense of accomplishment. I like these nightfalls. The timer makes things tricky but i think its where most D1players are used to the take your time pick things slowly and you will always win attitude.

I agree. The timer sucks all the fun out of it for me and my friends. I know some people like it and that's cool, I just wish the timer was optional. Give those who use the timer and extra engram for their extra effort or something. There is clearly two camps on this issue, but I feel like a solution shouldn't be that difficult.
-
I have never liked timers. It's an artificial and IMO lazy, way to make something difficult. Out of ideas? Hey just put a short time limit on it. I understand it for some sort of special circumstance, but just to artificially raise the difficulty feels cheap. I mean literal hoops to jump through!? Not fun.
-
Agreed. Why do I feel like I'm trying to do a Destiny 1 patrol mission in the middle of a strike? I want to shoot stuff, not jump through hoops and watch a timer...
-
We've been grinding the nightfall a lot this week. Have 1 person skip the hoops at the drill section (that part sucks, but it's still fun) Don't go in under 165 (soft cap). skip all the adds you can, and fry the boss on 3rd drop with supers. Skadoosh.

1 RespuestaNo no negative disliked & no Nightfall is perfectly fine

Nightfall is endgame and should be difficult. It should not be solo friendly and you shouldn't be attempting it underleveled. It already has different light levels, if people can't complete it yet they need to level up. I didn't complete the Raid last night, should I be asking for it to be easier? Whether the timer adds artificial difficulty or not it still adds difficulty and I'd effective. They gave made the game very casual please allow some parts to stay difficult for the rest of us.

Editado por ArchangelLBC: 9/14/2017 6:43:09 AMYou get like 20+ minutes playing the extra time objective. Edit: you say you and your clan were ok at raiding. Did your runs blind and figured everything out for yourself, even when it meant a lot of failure, and even went flawless a few times. That's great. Treat the nightfall like you would one of those raid encounters. Figure out how to be efficient. Figure out where you're losing more time than you ought. Experiment with different approaches to the time adding mechanic. In short, treat the nightfall like a puzzle. It's meant to be solved. And indeed people are solving it. Find a solution that works for you.

1 RespuestaI'm 281, and my two teammates were 270's. We breezed through the nightfall in one try. And the time rings are easy to hit. We even ignored them in the mining area before the boss. Last weeks was way harder imo. As long as you coordinate weapon burns, subclasses, and communicate well, you'll be fine. I will help anyone who needs it to get through the nightfall.
-
I think it works fine myself, public events are good on heroic, also the weekly challenges and planet specific are good ways to rank up quick. The nightfall is pretty easy if you kill enemy before activating the time gates. Usually there's a public event flag to get a super when you start

2 RespuestasYou just gotta earn the loot, it's not made to be given to you for free, learn the ways around certain things that hinder your performance, learn when to engage certain groups and when to skip others
