They should really change it to how destiny 1 had it
-
1 RespuestaPersonally games like this and GTAV. I don't support any further than DLC. Microtransaction is something I'll never SUPPORT. So if there are many like minded people who feel the same. Should do as such.
-
The shader system is garbage.
-
Yyuuuppppp. What the hell were they thinking. Idiots.....
-
-
I like it. Adds to the replay ability
-
The only thing I dislike about the new shader system is that it's going to lead to people complaining (yet again) about needing more vault space, because people will have so many shaders.
-
Yes I agree with the title of this post! I was like wtf! Where did my shader go???
-
It's fine. Keeps people running public events and such. They aren't hard to get and being able to change independent gear pieces is awesome!
-
Quit complaining. Destiny 1 all over again. Quit bitchin
-
I think it's fine. Nothing wrong with it.

2 RespuestasPlease no...keep it the way it is. Its amazing all you can do and they really aren't greedy with shaders at all. They practically rain shaders as long as your playing the game. They even drop from loot caches out in the wild. I mean almost everything you do in game gives you shaders and they drop in bundles of 2-5 from what ive experienced so far. Once you hit level 20 they rain even heavier. I already have 13 legendary shaders with 3-9 per and 20 basic shaders with 3-9 per in 3 days of playing. This new system is worlds better than d1 and a very clever design by bungie like every other aspect of the game. Well thought out and unlimited ways to make your guardian unique. Keep it!!

6 RespuestasHaven't bought destiny 2 yet but I'm hesitant to because shady shit like this. It seems kinda redundant to make them burn after use. Why not just make them last forever? Why isn't their a kiosk for that type of shit? Like couldn't we just buy them with glimmer again once we unlock them? I mean we'll still grind but we will get what we want more reliably. Then bungie can gloat about play time and players can be happy we look like space warriors and not a kids idea of a space park ranger. It seems like either A. bungie didn't think this through or B. they did think this through but they wanted to milk more form the players who actually gave a shit about how they look. Banking on the fact that the comunity will disregard their complaints. Because God forbid their game gets criticized even if it's about somthing they claim they don't give a shit about.

2 RespuestasNot complaining actually.. Drops are very high, and creating some different style. But complete raid shaders would be nice, but still not complaining
-
Yeah, I get why people are upset. I personally don't really mind. Just another reason to keep grinding.
-
Nah. I like it. Plenty of variety and plenty of shaders.
-
This new system is better because it allows you customize your armor how you want. Your now able to mix and match colors if you want. And even though it's a one time use I get a crap load of different colors, sooo yeah...
-
Personally I think they have made the game way to easy. They've taken the grind away, really shaders is the only thing to grind for at the moment and that's not much of a grind.
-
Omg it's really not that bad time to suck it up. I like what they did with the shaders
-
Disliked for reasons!
-
1 RespuestaI don't mind the consumable shaders, but I think being able to trade with others for your favorites would be a neat addition.

We are looking for active Destiny 2 players to join our clan on Xbox One. We want to grow and help players in any way we can, we are active in all kinds of events. If you want to be apart and help this clan rise up. Message me on Xbox here: AsukaShiki to join The Historians

Hell no leave it like it is
-
Why? This system is so much better. In d1 shaders were applied to your armour. In d2 individual shaders can be applied to the head, arms, chest, legs, class items, weapons, ships and sparrows. And sure you can be mad that they are single use, but not all shaders can be purchased from eververse, most are obtained through gameplay. Also, if you don't have the time to open a chest, run a public event or turn in your tokens to the proper npc then uninstall this game becuase your life is too damm busy for you to be playing video games.

So, like everyone else, when I first found out that shaders were now consumables I was slightly shocked, however after letting my initial reaction settle down a bit and playing more of the game I actually think the new shader system is an improvement over the infinite use model. Yes, shaders are available from Eververse via bright engrams and the engrams can be bought if someone chooses to accelerate their access to them. However, myself and many other people I've spoken to haven't spent anything on silver and have still received a tonne of cool stuff from Eververse, bright engram drops via levelling up is a huge improvement over motes of light and the consistency by which you receive them is, I'd say "fair". Shaders, as a consumable reward for grinding gameplay, actually promotes player activity in the world. We're now in a position where players will continue to involve themselves in world activities such as patrol and public events, in order to increase their rep and get an engram drop to get the shader packs. For example, I like Sloane's shaders, if I want all my gear to match I now need to keep myself involved in activities on Titan in order to achieve that. If I get new gear, I now need to repeat the process thus repeating my involvement in the games shared world activities. If the shaders are unlimited use, there would be no need for me to repeat my involvement in gameplay, once I've got it I've got no incentive to repeat the process again. Potentially leading to there being no reason to run activities in patrol or do public events. In terms of gameplay a system that promotes repeated involvement in activities, like the new shader system, is by far an improvement to the system we previously had.
