So as the title says this post goes out to my fellow PC players. I started playing Destiny 1 in Beta and played it continuously for 3 years. It's the only console game I own. I came from PC playing games like Battlefield and Unreal Tournament so it took me several months to learn how to play using a controller and to learn how to play a game like Destiny that is a different beast than games like Overwatch and Battlefield. My Fellow PC players for as long as I can recall have been crapping on console plebs and their controllers and saying how superior mouse and keyboard are. Now here is a game that has a huge console fan base with proper controller support carried over from its console version and a giant population of people who are masters of controller play both in the same lobbies and I have to say I am ashamed and embarrassed by my fellow PC master race. I understand and agree with the problems that could arise with Xim4 users and others who want to use AA with M&K via 3rd party software. We had those same people on console. They were a non factor but they existed. So I totally support being anti AA with Keyboards. If that means removing AA with controllers than sadly so be it. I would prefer a way to detect Xim or third party software use rather than removing proper controller support. What I'm not OK with and am ashamed to call my self part of the PC master race is those who are calling controller use cheating and or unfair. I'm not okay with talking down on console players and I'm not okay with the general piss poor attitude of those who are new to Destiny on PC. Those who know jack about the game and controller play saying that controllers auto aim directly for the head with out any effort. How can you say M&K is superior when you are crying about being beat by controller users? I had no issues using M&K and totally wrecking everyone I came across. Why is that? Because just like the controller players I have thousands of hours of experience that you, new to Destiny PC players do not have. On Reddit I watched a clip where a PC streamer said he aimed at a dudes feet and hit the head. Well actually that guy is a tool and he missed the shot that was aimed at dudes feet and only hit the head when he was aimed at the head. This misinformation and crying needs to stop in order to find a proper solution if there even is one. Short version: Stop blaming your lack of knowledge and skill in Destiny on Controllers. Odds are you got beat by other M&K players that like my self have thousands of hours of experience over you. In game there is no way for you to know what devices people are using to play. You got beat, its that simple. Now lets discus like grown ups about how Xim4 and third party programs are the issue, not that Destiny 2 has proper controller support. Edit: Just to be clear I used the term PC master race for attention to the post and for the irony of the use of the term in this situation of the many PC players saying controller use on PC is unfair.
