🤦🏽 I have the digital deluxe version and again if bungie was going to allow early pre- load TO ALL who got the digital version all you (bungie) had to do was tell the retailer THAT YOU MANLY DEAL WITH gamestop and gamestop.com and bcus they are separate both would have to be informed. I have been on the phone for 45min with them and they said if they were informed they would have had codes available to pre-load

Look IT IS NOT.... gamestop.com marketing supervisor just called ...just now and said all bungie reps had to do is contact them and they would have no problem doing it. to get my beta code I had to do the exact same thing, someone from bungie(a real bungie employee)had to contact gamestop.com not gamestop and they sent me the code to go to bungie.net and load it to get my beta code . They don't track all the early or change of date things unless contacted by bungie. I and whoever else that ordered the digital version like me CAN pre load it if a marketing rep contacted them and said hey we are allowing Xbox1 to pre-load today and they would release it for ALL who pre-ordered through the .com site. THESE ARE FACTS from gamestop.com reps that will work with us IF a bungie rep contacted them . This is like beating a dead horse .

THIS is the issue, this whole community is separated by BS , pre-orders , platforms, exclusives ,non-sense. I pre-ordered this digital game and passes in march and have stood by bungie , this game ,and still constant separation of the community,this is ridiculous. Why have a pre-load if we all can't pre load it especially the ones like me who ordered the digital deluxe game without ever seeing it. I'm done.. rant over .... at least I can download it on my birthday...smh😡.

Go to GameStop and ask them when they are releasing the digital download codes as it is up to them and nothing to do with Bungie.

.com is different from the store . They are waiting on bungie to contact them saying they are allowing consoles to pre- load on whatever date . I have been on the phone with supervisors and reps most of the day. They have even reached out to bungie to ask for the date to load on the consoles . Ppl don't understand that all they need is the info from bungie, I deal with this a lot bcus i always order from gamestop.com instead of ordering from the Microsoft store on my Xbox. They view it as a digital download and they are holding it from being pre-loaded bcus they don't have the date from bungie yet. This is NOT a exclusive only if you order on your console thing . It's a early pre-load for all digital owners. They just need the memo,email,date from a bungie rep

Look Bungie can not force the hand of retailers as to when they issue codes to pre-orders. So complain to the retailer. Or Wait until the codes are sent to you. Remember no one can play until the 6th no matter when they download the game.

Sigh 😔 am I speaking English, they are not forcing anything sadly when you pre order a digital copy of anything from GameStop.com this is how it works . They will do whatever bungie does. EXAMPLE when bungie changed the release date of the game to sept 6 they HAD TO CONTACT gamestop and .com so they would adjust the digital pre orders release. 2nd example with different release days and platforms for the beta bungie was a little slow contacting them so when ppl had there beta codes earlier I had to call .com and email on bungie.net and I got mine minutes afterwards. Also if you remember the beta code were released based off of WHEN u pre ordered. I pre ordered in march so I should not have had to wait until the same day to get my code. These are examples of how dealing with gamestop.com works . So it's not forcing I was just the dumb one who thought a bungie person would reply on the help tab like back in the day , bcus they know actually what to do bcus they often forget that .com is separate from the gamestop store ...like Walmart.com is not the same as Walmart... you can't return.com stuff to reg walmart. So if you understand now maybe u can see my frustration . They are just waiting on the info from bungie.... I will probably get to pre-load mine when ps4 strarts theirs.
