How is it that when Trump talks about unity Democrats go claim he supports white supremacists, but when Democrats say pretty much the same thing they get overwhelming support?
People. Stop with your double standards. It is getting stupid.
Edit: Please make answers objective. That way I'll take it seriously.

Because he wasn't talking unity. He was trying to play the moral equivalency game in the wake of what was a domestic terror attack. If he had tried to do that if the driver had been a radical Muslim driving that car and killing people for political reasons, I guarantee he wouldn't have been so mealy-mouthed in his "condemnation". One Pundit phrased the issue perfectly. He said (paraphrased), "Trump decided to get involved in the Right vs Left conflict at a time when he should have been binding up the nations wounds over this. He decided to be the President of Red-State America, and forgot that he was President for ALL of America. " But that is what happens when you put a narcissist in power. He the only person whose emotions are **real** to him, are his own. So he it is not in his character to understand how inappropriate what he said truly was. Especially when he's so quick to criticize in the HARSHEST, most mean-spirited terms anyone who offers up the tiniest slight or the most benign of criticism. Especially when you POTUS and the whole WORLD is going to judge and criticize you for the four years of your term. Regardless of who you are . What you do or what party you represent.

5 RespuestasHow can I trust a man who puts any and everyone and everything on blast on Twitter when he is offended when he wants to unite people? Clearly it shows that when he speaks of unity it's his way or the highway. When democrats speak of unity they mean male, female, transgender, black, white, American, Mexican, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, and so many others. That's the difference. It's not a double standard, Trump is just running a facade with his hypocritical actions and ways.

People dislike trump.

Politics and people tend to be fickle. Sometimes opinions and thoughts change at the drop of a dime.
-
You either accept which side your president leans or you make posts about it.
-
Easy. Trump is a white nationalist. Boom!
-
Trump's success is entirely down to his sewing division. Basically, when he says he wants unity, he's lying.
People. Stop with your double standards. It is getting stupid.
This is why: you yourself just spoke a double standard. Trump is a walking schism. He divides. He's loud, narcissistic, and insensitive. He drives wedges both in America as well as beyond. So any promises of "unity" that come out of his mouth are rightly ignored. Why should we listen to a loud-mouthed old man preaching unity when he spends 90% of the day raging on Twitter? The recent track history of Democrats regarding civil rights does much more to support calls for unity.
