Dear Bungie,
I am sad to say that I will not be purchasing D2 at launch. There are quite a few reasons but the main are as follows; PvP no dedicated servers, 30 fps, limited match making game types etc and the removal of Grimoire? Sorry! but should we not be making things better, having dedicated servers, 60 fps as standard and not shrinking gaming options? Considering there is no ranking system in the game, Grimoire gave me something to collect and kept me coming back for more which is a good thing but you remove?
No doubt, you will have your reasons but whatever they are they are certainly not good enough... Not worth 60 bucks or even half that amount. You have been working on D2 for years and this is what you give the community.
I will wait with baited breath to see how launch goes. I really hope I am wrong and its a great success but unless there are major changes I fear for the worst.
GloryDays D1 guardian checking out probably for the last time.

8 RespuestasReasons I'm excited for destiny 2: Four gorgeous new worlds to explore (EDZ is apparently twice the size of any map in D1). An actual substantial story I can follow and (hopefully) care about. 80 missions and PvE activities (and before you say most of that will be patrol there are 50 plus cutscenes so we know the "story" part will be substantial). Lost sectors, adventures and world adventures that open up when the game is finished. Lore being in the game this time. New strikes. New raid. New weapons and armour to grind for. PvP that I personally enjoyed more than D1 PvP. Things that I couldn't give a shit about: 30fps. Dedicated servers. No more Grimoire.

You will be back.....you know you will....

Your ignorance astounds.

Reasons I am not getting it at launch is because I am on PC. I can easily wait for the reviews on the meat of the game, and I am sure the PC version will be serviceable anyway. It's a win win.

Editado por FairlySplendid: 8/17/2017 12:52:17 PMI don't understand your feedback: - I didn't hit any major or noticeable issues in PvP during the D2 Beta. I guess their new "hybrid" system is working??? - If you are that serious about framerates and graphics, you should be playing Destiny on PC. Plain and simple. - Lore was moved in-game. Where it should have been in the first place.

Considering dinner costs more than this video game on most nights I find the argument "not worth it" ridiculous.

I've wasted my money on worse games in my life. Destiny has its issues but for me it's not game breaking. Of course I don't get to play 18 hours a day and stream my gameplay and tell everyone who's watching that the game is garbage. I'm really glad your making a stand, but your really just the minority. I'll cya around the farm. ✌

1 RespuestaYea D1.5 is gonna suck, no dedicated servers, no 60fps, same old as hell engine It's a Saturday morning cartoon now where allllll the guardians are silent cookie cutter bots, you can't even have facial hair in D1.5, you can't customize your imported characters, probably cause there is even LESS customization then in D1 All the guns and armor will be the same as well, so expect to keep getting the same things over and over again, even more then D1 with static perks In the crucible all you have to do is point your gun in the enemies direction and pull the trigger and you can get multiple kills since assists now count as kills NOBODIES NUMBER ONE YAAAAAAAAAAY😃😃👍🏻

3 RespuestasEditado por Hello Mate: 8/16/2017 11:05:17 PM
PvP no dedicated servers
*cringe
30 fps
*cringe
limited match making game types
*cringe
the removal of grimoire
*cringe Seriously though, if these are your main concerns, there isn't much to worry about. All objects affected by lag are on a "dedicated server," 30 fps is necessarily for mass objects/frame detail, there are more game modes, and grimoire is in game.

I'm gettin' it. Couldn't be worse than D1.

4v4 I think is better for some PVP games modes. (not as the only option)... So yeah PVP is ruined for most of us. Some people will have to buy they game to figure that out. PVE - no progression of the game in any way. I can't see how any PVE people would be happy or excited. How is less more? It's like they put zero thought into PVE. I can't wait for the game to come out so the real whining can start... I'm guess around Oct. once everyone has played through most the content.

O_o So dramatic...
makes popcorn. Why the hell does my wife keep making watch these chick fllicks!
Wow really? Is that really all it took?

13 RespuestasI don't care how you spend your money, but that reasoning is quite weak. "Not worth 60 bucks"? How not? A supposedly 50 hr campaign, some raid, pvp maps and modes, lost sectors, strikes, adventures and who knows how much loot to collect. Might not turn out to be a great game, but compare it to the plethora of 60 dollar games that have come out in the past decade or so and it stands firm.

Damn... I can live with no dedicated servers, 30 fps, and the removal of Grimoire. It's the 2 primary system, the two-path skill system, and the 4v4 pvp that blows pop-tart chunks.
