Go into the settings and change the brightness settings or the brightness and contrast on your TV.

Already have, my tv is at medium to low brightness and the game is at a 4.

Then, that's just the way the game is. Have you seen a flat sheet of snow on a sunny day? That shiz can blind a person worse than a DBZ Solar Flare. Also, the ships you are using may have been designed to have parts glow.
